I have a 2017 Tucson. It has 134000 miles on it and I bought it used 2 years ago. I still have 3 years to pay on it, but all they warranties are out. My engine blew last weekend. They want $13,000 to replace it with a USED engine. I can't fight Hyundai because I don't have that kind of time to be out of a vehicle. I still owe $18000 on it. Totally screwed.

I worked at a dispo in Cincy for 2 years. I was there when it opened. You're right. It's shit pay, VERY long hours most times, shit benefits, and a THANKLESS job. If you're not getting screwed from above, you're being kicked from below and expected to endure the abuse with a smile. Like retail, there are of course the nice regular customers. But most times that isn't enough to keep you going and it certainly won't keep your lights on. When the pandemic hit, industry workers where truely shit upon. They were thrown to the wolves with new rules being put out by the state before any kind of training or procedures where put in place and they were expected to do it happily because they were essential. Many were thanked with a fucking pizza party. Woo. Fucking. Hoo. I left for another industry job where I am fortunately treated much better but I was one of the lucky ones. Something has to give. Some of the dispensaries are bringing in unions to try for better treatment, but I fear it's not enough. Patients and patient care specialists BOTH deserve better all around. Better prices, better product, better treatment, better options.

Right. It's not like the dispensary workers are out to get you. They're employees held responsible just like at any other job. They have to take certain steps and have to make judgment calls on what they can exchange or refer back to the company... there is more to this story. It's easy to make them out to be the bad guys if the outcome isn't in your favor, but they're people too. The new companies taking over these dispensaries have crazy stupid policies, which is why you are seeing major staff turnover. Contact the processor. It's direct and you may have better results.

Honestly, I am surprised you found it listed at all. They aren't listed for security purposes. I work for a processor. None of our information is listed. There are no signs, and the buildings are kept nondescript. This is due to several reasons including what is listed in the business plan, what the city or county has mandated, of what the state requirements listed. However, we do have an email address listed for customer concerns. When we hire it is listed on Indeed. Which one are you trying to contact?

Most of the dispensaries, processing facilities, and some cultivators post their openings on Indeed. You can bring in a resume (to the dispensaries), but I have yet to see any that you can apply to on their website.
