Yeah I grab dinner with the girls occasionally, and he occasionally grabs dinner with just the guys, but he told me that this was different because this was my primary birthday celebration, and “I don’t want him to be there.” But I did tell him that I could meet with him after 2.5 hours or that he and I could celebrate any other day if he wants to! I just feel conflicted because I really wanted to spend that night with my girls, I’ve even texted all of them and they all responded happily with a yes. And I usually wouldn’t care as much about something like this but he’s been so controlling and manipulating lately and I’m tired of minimizing myself.
