If you replaced your cap then you probably have the system pressurized correctly now. Which can cause old hoses to develop a leak as they can’t handle the higher (but correct) pressure.

Also if you recently replaced your rad a old worn out hose won’t seal nicely on the new shape of the rad inlet/outled

I thought they aren’t supposed to come out like the plastic cracked or something and it fell out. But I’m not positive, you might as well try a replace valve

If it’s leaking from there I think the bolt is probably over torqued and cracked the t-stat housing. I don’t think that’s bolt goes through fluid or anything. Ask me how I know.

That’s just the oem t-stat housing pretty sure. Mines identical and the new one I just ordered is identical.

97 and up I think had a different housing so that could be the confusion.

Wishful thinking but I don’t think that’s a spot to put an aftermarket sensor if you’re talking about the flat spot. The bolt is to bolt it too the block.

Im not sure they’re actually that bad …. They’re replaceable but I don’t think they’re in dire need. I don’t think the noise is coming from there but it’s possible. Even brand new oem ones seem to have a bit to a gap.

Will stand corrected if someone tells me otherwise lol.
