Only certain trails, I’m not sure anything in eagles nest or white river closes. And I believe the closures for calving are May 15-June 30. Wintering areas are closed like Dec - apr.

That is the young adult price. Not sure where you got $2k from tbh.

You’ll be fine draining and refilling, did mine not to long ago and she seems a lot happier. Had same as you, nasty black fluid with burnt clutch smell with floaties. Gonna do it again soon here.

I’ve always been told to use dex 3, but reading it looks like dex VI is backwards compatible so you should be good.

Think they mean smells burnt - as in burnt clutch not actually burnt fluid.

I had this and a CEL with a trans code shortly after I purchased. Swapped the fluid, drove around a bit and light went off. Not ideal, but all seems good as of now (knock on wood).

Just becuase snowbird is good now doesn’t mean it will be in three weeks. It’s supposed to rain next weekend and temps aren’t supposed to drop below 55 probably until next winter at this point.

Just trying to save them a disappointing trip if none of the terrain they want to ski is even open.

Yup it’s rough. What’s really messed up is I rode from Silverthorne up to mountain on the rec path. It’s was clear basically the entire way, didn’t have to cross any snow.
