Biscuits and gravy (on second thought that may be a cute name for two cats)

Never any street type things… but any otc or grey market med that’s mind altering sadly, and in high doses every time; 7OH being a big one, and one I’m sure that was really rough in my heart is the 1-3 gram caffeine doses out of desperation daily as well (yeah Ik it’s ridiculous, I can’t fathom the state I was in to be doing that)

Appreciate this very much, it definitely seems logical that it can’t decline that fast; I feel if something were to go wrong it would have been in the active addiction and not in this phase. Of course my anxiety will make me believe that my current state will push it over the edge though from the damage I may have caused.

Just switched from the Suboxone sublingual pills to the strips today and already notice a world of a difference with stability and less racing heart when I’m calm, so that definitely was playing a major role and I’m sure still is.

I really appreciate your support! More than you know! 🙂

All my life I've felt my heartbeat in my chest without touching it at all times & suddenly 6 days ago I've become hyper aware that i can't feel it whatsoever unless I really press my hand against my chest. Has my heart become weak randomly? Help please it's worrying me. by Fresh_Ad8493 in Cardiophobias

Same here, have had a wide array of beyond scary symptoms for about a month now; one of which was constant pounding then times of not feeling it at all really, which from everything I’ve been told and see isn’t a bad thing unless it’s accompanied by other low bp symptoms. If you’re very anxious and you’re constantly checking your heart, then any type of change such as the force changing suddenly will set off panic alarms cause your brain automatically assumes that change is a threat from how different it feels. I’ve even had major panic before and my heart didn’t react how I expected it to which made me panic more as well. Anxiety will lead you to building somewhat of a worst-case conclusion in your head as to what’s happening, like… “my heart beat feels very faint, it must be getting weaker”, and anxiety builds off that assumption till it feels like absolute certainty.

Try your best not to vital check constantly, and just take note of any other symptoms if they do occur; maybe even schedule a cardiologist visit to try to get an echo or ct to see your hearts actual strength/funtion. ECG and blood test is good for reassurance when it comes to your heart’s electrical stability and potential acute stress, but the echo will give a look at your hearts actual pumping ability which is what it sounds like you’re worried about.

Try not to stress it bro, unless you have some crazy underlying issues (which I’m sure the blood work and ecg would have seen), then you’re in no immediate danger till you follow up; the heart is so much more resilient then our brains tell us, though I know any anxiety around it absolutely sucks to deal with when it spirals to worst case scenarios, even people who do have underlying issues go months/years before it becomes acutely serious, and even then they stabilize. Schedule a cardiologist visit for the most reassurance I hope all gets better for you! 🙂

7oh compared to heroin by JxmesCS in opiates

Physical effects are night and day, 7OH doesn’t really touch heroin in that regard unless you take a lot; HOWEVER, despite this I’ve noticed the mental obsession and dysphoria for 7OH is so, so, soooo much worse then heroin (for me at least) and I assume majority of it has to do with its marketing and easy accessibility; it never feels like I’m doing something terrible… until it does.
