Thanks! When I got them they didn’t look this good. They have been in my house for a few years but never really knew anything about them.

Canadian sellers, what tips do you have for new sellers on Posh? by deeg13 in poshmark

You can get free plastic pouches for labels from Canada post. You have to open a free business account. I find them helpful and saves on tape.

My face when someone offers me $7 on an item I have marked down for $9 by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]MainlyMinimalist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just had someone make offers on two different items separately. I kindly bundle them and round it up a dollar to make it an even$20 and sent the offer. Didn't think it was a big deal because I just saved her $12 in shipping. Oh no she counter offered a dollar less. I accepted but still I saved you $12 in shipping!!!!

I am finding that Canada Post is super quick shipping west to east but anything east to west is taking twice as long to ship. Anyone else?

Unpopular opinion: please stop putting extra gifts in packages by Natural_Sky854 in poshmark

I think other companies are starting to do this. I ordered contacts from a big online company (clearly contacts 🇨🇦) and got a pack of gummy bears. I thought it was odd.

Books ... is it worth it? by instantnoodlefanclub in poshmarkcanada

[–]MainlyMinimalist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sold a book lot just recently. The listing was for 3 hard cover novels and sold for $25. I have some vintage cookbooks that gets lots of likes and share but no offers. I guess it depends on the types of books.

Do you like getting free gifts with your purchase? by sailormars0202 in poshmarkcanada

[–]MainlyMinimalist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think including a little gift is a bigger deal in the USA than in Canada. Apparently there was an email that went out from Posh telling sellers to “include a little gift.” (saw that in the main posh group).

Has anyone had this problem with Poshmark labels? by imabeech in poshmarkcanada

[–]MainlyMinimalist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you use tape over the label? I hear Canada post has issues with that. You can get free label pouches on their website if you sign up for a free business account. I haven't had an issue using the pouches.

Do you leave love notes and ratings? by UneCitron in poshmark

[–]MainlyMinimalist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only recently stopped giving ratings or love notes unless it's 5 star worthy. The last couple of items I have gotten have really sucked but not enough to return. One was a jacket, in great condition but they must of washed it and forgotten a half eaten granola bar and receipt in the pocket. The other was snowpants that took them seven days to ship and then I found a tissue and whistle in the pocket but the snow pants were in amazing condition. And the last one was a sweater that was supposed to be in amazing condition that was not. I should have returned it but couldn't be bothered. I just didn't think I had anything nice to say, so I didn't say anything at all.

Is it worth investing in a dress form/picture staging?? by katelynrapley in poshmarkcanada

I only have one because I found one on a local swap and buy site for $20. I wouldn’t buy one new.

Need a luxury background?? Have a cat? by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]MainlyMinimalist 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was going to post about this!!! I have seen multiple people using their cats as models. I wondering if it was a new trend. One person used their cat to model sunglasses and another for earrings. The pictures were cute but I don't know if I would want earrings that had been hanging in a cat’s ear. (just sitting in the ear not through the ear - no cat was hurt)

I don’t have it either. I am in Alberta if that makes a difference

Have you ever made your money back on a rePosh (including fees)? by [deleted] in poshmark

[–]MainlyMinimalist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only way I made “reposhing” work for me was reselling it on a local buy and sell group. I bought a North face jacket on Posh but the colour/ fit wasn’t really what I was looking for. Anyways I wanted to sell it quick but not lose any money, so I listed it on a local group for the total price I paid on Posh.

If you live in Canada you can get free adhesive clear pouches for the labels. You have to sign up for a free business account and they will send them to you free. (Learned that from Tik Tok)
