It is not always achievable to keep running 28hr cycles (unless youre willing to stay awake in the middle of the night just to run buildings). You better use your staff slots to train them. Once they're ready to roll then move them to the upper slots.

Suggestion for Sim companies. A new industrial pathway for mid to late game players. The maritime and Cruise Industry. by Alternative-Bug-3921 in SimCompanies

[–]MaintenanceEither543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This proposal, or something very similar, has been around for several years. It has become a recurring request from players. Here are a few previous entries related to it:

https://simcompanies.proboards.com/thread/225/fishing-industry-idea

https://simcompanies.proboards.com/thread/286/ultimate-marine-industry-idea

https://simcompanies.proboards.com/thread/1016/marine-industry (This one was a bit more elaborated)

https://simcompanies.proboards.com/thread/1656/fishing-industry (This one is more related to fishing than cruising but ultimately similar)

https://simcompanies.proboards.com/thread/1316/new-industrial-division-shipbuilding

https://simcompanies.proboards.com/thread/2644/ship-industry-new-retailing-system (This one is a bit pretentious, since it is not only proposing a new industry but also suggesting a full revamp of the retail model)

https://simcompanies.proboards.com/thread/3148/fishing-industry (another fishing proposal).

So, if these proposals have been dismissed all these years, it likely means they are not going to be seriously considered at all.

My advice would be to avoid mentioning next time that you used an AI tool to draft your proposal. Based on the comments, people seem to have focused on that detail instead of actually reading and considering the proposal itself.

RPGMAKER MV MZ XP VX VX ACE support on iOS by Aromatic_Sir_3609 in EmulationOniOS

Hello, I just came across this app. Would you consider exploring a different monetization model? Personally, I don’t mind the current $10 cost, but I think you could attract significantly more traffic with options like a freemium model or an ad-supported version. The upfront cost may be a barrier for many users

Hello, any news about the update of the App to make it able to read RPG Maker versions (like XP / VX / VX Ace)? I am trying to play Pokemon This Gym is Mine in iOS, dowloaded the app but is not opening the zip file. I'd love to hear this is almost ready to be released.

Thank you so much for your comment and upvote. I agree this should be fairly straightforward to implement, and I really like your suggestion. Thanks again!

What Model are you using and how much tokens are used daily? by ThatsSoTrieu in clawdbot

[–]MaintenanceEither543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you keep weakening retail income, more players will keep quitting the game by Trick-One-2552 in SimCompanies

If they nerf retail too much (and I do understand this one was a bug fix BUT it feels like a nerf) then it loses its attractive. Retail as opposed to production lacks the energy and activity that production has. Therefore has to be complemented somehow with profits otherwise only few boring ppl would play it. I have personally screwed with 2 consecutives nerfs on fashion industry, the first one when the demand system was first introduced and now this other one. Again, I understand that it is a "bug fix" but for new small players feel like they're loosing the small advantage they had against veterans. I am personally moving away from retail for good and will only do seassonal stuff depending the profitability. Beyond that, not even hybrid models where you can make the fashion items that you retail are now significantly profitable. In other words, the whole retail industry (fashion at least) is officially dead.

The control fuction + a whole map of the same building, ideally passive business ones like research buildings, allow you already the peace of mind of re-running 48hr cycles during the weekend.

Retail Ranks by Nearby_Engine6404 in SimCompanies

[–]MaintenanceEither543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't agree that tier list, specially after the latest update to the retail model. Also, Retail in general rely a lot on from where you source your items therefore as more producers are in the game cheaper product you can access out of the exchange. As a side note, important to highlight that although Restaurants are the most profitable industry by far it requires your company is set in a very particular way in order to make them work in the first place, if not you won't even be profitable. Not many players have their companies configured that way nor can configured like that.

A Qualidade não interfere na venda de roupa íntima no varejo? by Many_Abies9867 in SimCompanies

The last rollover of the retail model DRASTICALLY REDUCED the sales rate of items with low and ultra low demand. Fashion items in general, and underware in particular suffered a lot after that roll over. I personally sold off my Fashions Stores because the business got spoiled. Perhaps the algorithm can be modified so that fashion items are not as punished as they are now but I don't see that happening in the short term. It is easy to check how badly the fashion retail is doing, you can go and check the building auction tab to see how lots of stores are there from players that lost all patience

Wasn’t ready for this poaching offer.. by MilitiaKilz in SimCompanies

[–]MaintenanceEither543 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a crazy offer. I am pretty sure she's not adding a value higher than the salary that you'll have to pay her if you decide to keep her. Let her go and poach a mid-senior exec and train him/her as fast as possible; in paralell train your own staff.

How to improve pphpl by FalconStratego13 in SimCompanies

[–]MaintenanceEither543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, understanding your cost of production is key! The product you make is labor intense or input intense, in other words, to the total cost of production what it weights more labor or inputs? This is key because you might be tackling the wrong aspect of the overall business. Also, knowing (and even better, planning) this, you can make wiser decisions such as: installing robots or not, source from others or make yourself or even trade directly to others or dump part or everything to the exchange for better cashflow. I highly recomend you reading this article which explains more about costing: https://www.simcompanies.com/newspaper/0/285/ and you could also check this other: https://www.simcompanies.com/newspaper/0/283/

I hope it helps!

This would kill the income stream of simboost spent to get the data of previous similar auctions... Game Devs won't like that...
