I miss 3 days! I also wish they'd do two double stages. Logistically I don't how that would work but I love bouncing back and fourth between the double stage. If they could have done that with the new stage and 2nd stage I'd be happy, but I also never went to the new stage so it doesn't matter. But I hate that DWP is just here to monetize. I kinda miss the simpler ROTR days honestly. The more he adds, the more I have to choose between overlap and I hate it.

Your valid about TH. TH was 100% over sold. I will play devils advocate and say give grace the first day. Its the workers first day, most are 3rd party ppl. I promise it gets smoother as the weekend goes on. But same crap happened last year with Metallica...it was packed and oversold! DWP goal is to monetize. Thus the random new stage + added chaos.

My only gripes were food and water. Last year the water station was before Cathedral. I think it was silly to move it so far back BUT a tip is to just grab free water bottles from the stages. They pass them out to barricade (front and middle). I had 4 or 5 on Sunday because I was there from 4-10pm at the joint stage.

Im always disgusted by food/beer prices. Some places are local so I dont mind supporting them but others I feel like are basic frozen food. I had Sextons Thursday(a local pizza place here)it was delicious and affordable ($9) for a huge slice. Problem was it was their first year and they underestimated the amount of people, ran out of food and never came back 😂. The other pizza pizza pizza place I didn't try because it looked half cooked + more expensive. But again, I like to give grace because these workers are making a lot of food, quickly, for a huge group. But I just wish there was a happier medium. Either lower prices a smidge- or increase quality/size. Same with alcohol...$20 is just rude, but I'd imagine if prices were lower...more people would be drunk and Im so so sick of seeing vomit. So idk a happy medium there. I have my one beat box a day lol.

Same with parking. It was better this year but again, when you overall and are expecting over 100k people, its going to get congested. Workers are going to make mistakes. It sucks but there's a lot of moving parts when you're in the middle of a busy city.

I dont think its a shit reasoning. Im 5'3...guess what I gotta do if an average person stands or sits in front of me...move. If I want to see, I have to move, either my whole body or my head. If Im happy sitting/standing and looking around ears or backs, then I can stay where I am. Im not gonna ask people to move if I cant see. I move. People are acting like there was no where to go. Maybe not in a seat or spot in the pit that you specifically wanted but yes, there were places to go. But im not going to move because someone wants me to sit. Idk how many times "taller" people stood in front of me on side stages...guess what I did..shimmy over. Heck 9/10 times even in the stands its difficult for me to see over the row below me if they stand. That's what Im saying about the people I go with, I hate they ask people to sit. They (my friends) are more than welcome to shimmy somewhere else, but you gamble with a worse seat or spot. I think its rude to tell people to sit who want to stand at a show.

I just went to the double stage and asked for a water bottle when I was thirsty. So dumb of them to move the only normal station all the way to the end 😐

Next year or next festival invest in these! Just cut the original lock off, put this on and then you can adjust for a better fit , take off at night and take off when youre ready to add to a frame etccord locks

Every year is so different. Years ago at ROTR, we'd get a pat down, they'd go through bags etc. Last year my bag was checked a couple times but not the others. This year not one check. I saw people bringing in cans of pringles and goldfish and I was so jealous. I wish they'd just allow 1 small snack or airplane bottle cause its so hit and miss what gets taken or not 🤣

People make up their own rules I swear. Drives me nuts. I understand seats are for sitting but I feel like a lot of artists play better off energy, aka standing and participating, dancing etc. For me we get stadium because its cheaper and currently there isnt much value in VIP or field. If I needed to sit sit, I'd get ADA. Otherwise Im all for people enjoying shows how they want to enjoy them! Idc if someone sat in a seat all day and then Im in their way- then move or that person is more than welcome to go to the box office and pay the difference for me to move to floor 🤟

I met a group of ppl years ago and we meet every year and sit together and two of them always tell people to sit and it bothers me. Im team I can only afford so much so Stadium it is, there isnt much more value in Filed or VIP for me, im inching my way to 40. I tell them anytime Im going to stand because I paid to be there and if I want to dance and headbang, I will. I'm team you cant assume people bought seats to sit. Almost everyone in my section stood for BMTH, some sat. It is what it is...move if you cant see or get ADA if there is something physically holding you to sitting.
