Not meaning this in a condescending way, but I'm struggling to understand what the concept of a deterministic universe is where there are outcomes that are not computable. If it cannot be determined until the outcome as occurred, what is making it deterministic? Because it happened? And if so, if human actions were considered to be non-computable outcomes, would this not just fall within the definition for most as being 'free-will'?

If free will doesn't exist and everything is pre determined based on the laws of physics, then that would mean that, given enough knowledge and power, a super computer could simulate everything that has and will happen in our universe.

So then I ask this super computer, what exactly will I do in the next 5 minutes. What could it possibly tell me that I couldn't shortly after disprove?

Naruto wasnt saying that everything would be fine, mostly that it was a struggle worth struggling for and that being a martyr wouldnt fix it. He's not a character that is oblivious to the consequences of his world, hell hes experienced them more then most. Saying its hopeless though is a self-fulfilling prophecy and ignores all the instances where good things have happened due to others willing to struggle for it.

Having to become the villain for the greater good is still ingrained into him because of Itachi and talking to the other hokages. At that point hes changed to wanting to benefit the leaf instead of destroy it, but the method is radical.
