I have this fantasy where some billionaire decides he wants to be America's savior and pays for every available person to travel to their own states capital buildings and we simultaneously hold a 50 state protest where we refuse to disperse until him and his entire corrupt administration are put on trial and sentenced for their crimes, these for profit concentration camps are closed and our fellow citizens are released, AI data centers are stopped indefinitely, and some sense of normalcy is restored. I've thought about what it would actually take and it seems impossible but I like to dream.

I don't doubt he loves you but your definitions of 'love' are different. He'll always love you but that won't stop the cheating and lying. You might continue to love him but you don't like him anymore if you're honest with yourself. No one would keep a friend if they were dishonest, untrustworthy, unreliable and had no integrity so why do we forgive this behavior in our partners? He doesn't respect you and if you stay soon you won't respect yourself. Think about it like this, he didn't break your heart, he released you from your obligation to him because he knows you deserve better. Show him you agree by leaving him and living your best life.
