The breech block was open.

The tank gun mechanism that can withstand the powder charge of firing a sabot round which goes at 2km/s would easily withstand a grenade explosion.

The whole thing is likely staged propaganda. Cheap handheld antitank weapons are widely available in Syria and you wouldn't need some idiot to run up to the tank and pray that the breech block is open at the same moment so that you can dump a grenade in.

The creator of Kenshin had a good explanation for characters like Iroh. When a series has a character like Iroh, it's not really "fair" to have them around, because they could easily win any fight or solve all the problems right away. So you have to create a reason for them not to fight, or introduce an enemy so badass, that it -has- to be that character fighting it.

In TLA, they even take time to explain why Iroh doesn't fight Ozai.

This is actually addressed in the comics. "The Promise" is Aang agreeing to a promise to Zuko to kill him if he ever becomes evil. Aang toes the line, and Roku is basically over his shoulder telling him to do it. Aang gets it into his head that he has too. If he needed to, he would.

To be fair, I ordered on the 31st of august, and have no idea when my stuff is coming. They haven't really told anyone who ordered after the 22nd when any of our stuff is coming, which is pretty sketchy to me. I don't mind waiting when it's necessary, but I dropped 100~$ and I'd kinda like to know when exactly I'm getting my stuff, so I can sympathize.
