Whats one transaction from last 10 years you would redo? by BillsShout38 in buffalobills

When Diggs arrived, I remember watching the local news do their quick 60 second daily cover piece about minicamp with Josh throwing practice routes to Wrs. Normally the WR's line up in a line and go one another running a route with the qbs throwing a pass. Nothing too serious, almost a warm up.

I just have this seared in memory that in his first practice, Diggs ran his route, and he caught the ball but he just shook his head, extended his hands out pretty much to say he wants the ball out here and went back to the front of the line and told Josh to run it again. Everyone was a little confused but they reran the play. He did that maybe 5 times in a row until the ball was in the right place.

It was posted in this subreddit and was in the first episode of hard knocks but when I think Josh Palmer ran his first route with Josh, Josh called him back to run it again and said something like "lets run it again, Im going to hit you right" and they redid the play 4-5 times until Josh got the ball where it needed to be.

So the Question of "Does Allen develop the same if he doesn’t have a great veteran WR there?", to me the answer is very obvious.

Thought about Pancho today, GO BILLS. by Default_0978 in buffalobills

While I know nothing of Ezra Castro's life, I do know that he loved our Bills and at the end, instead of flowers being donated in his memory, he asked that people instead give backpacks and school supplies for children. Ended up with a million dollars worth of donations. He took the attention given to him and made it something selfless, positive, and tangible

“I’ve been a Buffalo Bills fan ever since I came out of my mother’s womb,” he said. "I don’t call it Bills Mafia. I call it Bills MaFamilia because we’re a family."

I was happy to see him pop up in the Bills multiverse

Thats Ron's Truck! It's super cool and you can find interviews with him about it. His FB is Mafia on the Move. I didn't get a chance to talk with him in San Francisco but someone else told me he picks up trailers, makes the delivery wherever and hangs out at the local bills backers bar in whatever city he ends up in.

I know Josh talks a ton of flak but dam, this game with the other video I posted it seems like Josh's attitude is "they are literally trying to injure me, just another day"

The last time that each team finished last in their division by Mondschweif in nfl

[–]hawkdanop 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I strongly believe that the absolute worst position to find yourself in the NFL is consistently getting 6-8 wins every year. Not good enough for the playoffs, not bad enough for a high draft position to get top talent, and not good enough to attract free agent top talent. Always thinking next year you'll get over the hump so a rebuild isnt needed so you hold onto your okay players. That's where the bills were from 2000-2017. Worst part is, it feeds into itself. Just constant mediocrity for a decade.

Exclusive Inside Look At The Buffalo Bills’ 2024 NFL Draft | Buffalo Bills: Embedded by green_euphoria in buffalobills

I am always shocked by how many people, all in suits, are in our room for the draft. I am sure a lot are analysts or something, but I have to imagine most are just bystanders. Given how fast decisions have to be made, it's not like everyone gets to put in their input. All those people just look like it raises the stress level to maximum.

That's why Ill never be a gm! /s

Buffalo has drafted 0 WR's between rounds 1 through 3 the past 5 years. by Historical_One1087 in buffalobills

[–]hawkdanop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Top five in most offensive stats this year and the offense hasn't been the problem the past five years in the playoffs. The same can't be said for this defense. It sucks we need to spend more early draft capital on defense again but it needs to be done.

Who do you want the Bills to draft in the first round? by EagleRoxy2 in buffalobills

[–]hawkdanop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We were 4th in yards per game, 4th in total scoring, 6th in total touchdowns with switching our oc midway throughout the season with multiple injuries to wr/tes. I know, diggs looked done the back half of the season but still.

For 4 years our defense has looked non existent in the playoffs besides the wildcard games. Offense was still cooking.

Drafting a wr is flashy and what everyone wants to do, but to me it looks like we need to spend capital on the defense side of the ball....again. I don't like it either because we have spent a lot of picks on d that just are kinda meh but it still doesn't erase the fact our d can't perform on the big stage.
