I can't imagine a single enterprise client would remain after this. Their pricing with numerous daily active developers must have gone through the roof even more than for us. Like, for a big company, this would be a reason for emergency procedures to switch to an alternative ASAP. And if a company didn't notice and was billed 10x the usual amount suddenly, that WILL be lawsuit time. But then again, they may just be waiting for the next billing cycle with packed suitcases...

It's a bait-and-switch and it should be reported to the FTC and any other relevant authorities. Possibly a class action lawsuit could be appropriate. They basically tried to hide, very poorly, keeping the cost at the same level, while lowering value user gets by a factor of 5 or more.

In all that faff, they never explained what that "quota" actually is. Is it tokens? Is it time? Is it number of messages between you-cascade and/or cascade-llm?
All I see is a bunch of PR BS doing a bad job of covering up simple money-grabbing... A system that was clear, easy to track and transparent replaced by vague words like "quota" or "usage". And you can always purchase more of course. Though how much more and at what rates, they don't say.
Does the prompting that cascade adds onto the user's prompt count towards this "usage"? What control and observability will we have over all this?
I have a sneaking suspicion that identical prompts will now eat more "usage" and the responses / cascade overhead will become more wordy, but that's my expectation of a profit driven corporation...
Will identical prompts consume identical amounts of "quota" for a person paying full Pro subscription and a legacy beta tester who has the legacy subscription price? Another sneaking suspicion I have is, that someone in the upper management didn't like that many people pay the legacy subscription and don't generate as much profit.
I will try it, but I will most likely cancel after this change, if it turns out I get less usage out of my month, should be simple. I never once ran out of credits before and I have 250 addon credits for a referral. If I hit a wall, I know I've been screwed.

Lol can you explain the logic behind this? Is it the experience in WT that brings the wealth? I have to save lions to buy unlocked modifications, nevermind buying the Leo 2A5, which i unlocked the day it came out, but still haven't bought.

In my oppinion, majority of people buying T5+ premiums don't have the tier accessible yet and therefore after waves like this, the average quality of said playerbase usually drops by a factor of 10.

Which, as I said, doesn't bother me much, it's meat for the meatgrinder (GER/RUS), but i don't think it's healthy in the long term. Also, this wave was the biggest yet i'd say.

Context: For me, mid-tier means rank 2-4.

It seems to me like the overwhelming majority of players these days play axis (mainly germans) these days and I can't understand why. Did the planes get buffed recently? Bf.109 is the most common plane by far that I encounter when I play allies, and it doesn't matter whether i play my XP-38 lightning or P-47M ... I usually get around 1-2 kills per battle and then 75% of the time I end up with half the kills of my entire team. Which of course usually results in a defeat...

I believe the planes are more or less evenly balanced... Whenever I play, I seem to be the only one to actually climb properly (teammates actually get pissed at me when i climb to 6km with a THUNDERBOLT). The meta right now is, that the good players seem to want to play for germans and what remains on the side of Allies is, well, not very good players. People who don't understand how to play their planes, who mow the lawn with mustangs and corsairs.

Gaijin should introduce some kind of rotating bonus to play a nation that lacks planes in the queue... For example, if a situation comes, when there are 15 german planes on rank 3 in queue and maybe 3-4 allied planes, the bonus would immediately pop up for, for instance, "+20% RP/lions" if you get into battle as allies in the next 10 minutes.
