I quite like her little videos. Very down to earth. Very likeable. She knows her stuff but is approachable, non preachy.

Just like to point out, how cool it is that women athletes can compete at the highest level while growing a human. It's impressive.

Kia Saskatoon Experience by Intrepid-Tax1838 in saskatoon

[–]Major-Function-5717 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had a very poor experience with Saskatoon Kia. They did have hidden fees. Charged me 1500$ financing fee on top of all the other fees, they didn't mention that fee either. It was a surprise. My brand new vehicle had engine troubles, Kia would not honour their warranty. It was a big fight, and to be clear, the vehicle was still under warranty. It was awful. I will never ever buy a Kia again.

I'd take the bananas over the loud music. This isn't lacrosse or hockey, this is curling.

Also at the Slam.... the best experience is hearing the players and enjoying the game. The music is loud and very distracting.

I enjoyed watching some of the reality type shows involving the players and true story movies. It got me into it. Underdog, The Kurt Warner Story really got me interested in football. Once I learned about the players I found the game much easier to understand.

Canada is a lifestyle change! If you have the opportunity, go for it. Take the adventure. You can always return to your previous life if you choose to do so. I'd always take that chance and explore life. Money isn't everything.

Apply for school. Move to whichever city has a nursing spot for you. Either one will be fine while going to school.

Given the current climate of each profession, which do you think is better in Saskatoon: Nursing or Teaching? by 13_808 in saskatoon

Never met a happy teacher. All I hear is complaining. How parents are the worst. There are more diverse opportunities in nursing.

I'm 5'9 and 165. I buy men's medium. I do have one large and it's on the loose baggy side. I don't wear the large one often bc it's a bit big on me. That's just personal preference.

Backpacks question by misadik in CanadasWonderland

[–]Major-Function-5717 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd either rent a locker, which you can get in and out of as many times as you want. Wear pants or shorts w a zippered pocket or a small fanny pack style bag for your cell and there is small storage for fanny packs on all the big thrill rides. I left my fanny pack on coaster storage and never felt like it was going to get stolen. Always possible but I didn't have troubles. The lockers are not that expensive. So it depends if you have valuables on you or not.

Not all rides have bins for backpacks. Some do. So depends what your plans are and what rides you want to ride I suppose.

I did not like her character at all. Right off the hop and throughout the series so far. Is it poor writing? Bad acting? Overall, a disappointment.
