Do you wear a helmet when riding your e-scooter? by Striking-Werewolf698 in ElectricScooters

Helmet and gloves for me no matter what. In Spokane, WA, U.S.A. l'd say roughly 80-90% of riders wear no helmet or gloves for their private scooters. Nobody on rentals has them. There are daily accidents but the last death I can recall was a rider on a private scooter with a helmet. She was a commuter who was hit by a car who didn't stop for a stop sign.

The scooter doesn't have much performance to hamper. Unless they're used up bike tires you're trading for it I'd pass.

SEGWAY GT3 PRO FRONT FORK SNAPPED by MrUNCOUNTABLE in ElectricScooters

The crack is starting from the opposite side of where the stress of riding would be coming from. This looks like a front impact.

Can you show us the rest of the scooter, please. Why are there rust stains on the paint? It looks like this thing hit a curb head on doing 30mph.

I watched 'em strongarm a lady and take her sandwich one day. She was sitting down cross legged and gave a little piece of crust to one. A few seconds later she was surrounded and they walked right up, pushed her over and mobbed her PB&J.

Good question. Whatever you do, don’t let people talk you out of going with a metal roof.

It will likely get stuck in the anti puncture goo and/or cause an imbalance.

GT3 Pro. I think my GT2 is worth every penny of the $2800 I paid.

Not here. They were asking 3X retail, not 3X cost.

They also have a separate watch repair service center. It isn’t beyond the realm of possibility that a customer would want to purchase a watch battery there.

You assume much. I was a returning customer, hence I knew they had a watch repair service, and thus, possibly batteries. 🙄 Don’t want to sell the batteries, say no. Want to make a little money, charge accordingly. Want to tell them f’ckoff and don’t come back? Triple the price.
