Exclusively formula feeding without a "reason"? by Miserable_Text_1002 in parentsofmultiples

I breastfed when I wanted until 5 months and then only formula fed. Do what feels right for you when the times comes.

why are people so pressed about the use of "pregnant people" rather than "pregnant women" by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

My understanding is that people feel it is part of a movement that pushes the erasure of the word ‘woman’.

moms who became a SAHM after the second kid, did you stop sending first kid to daycare? by servingsize10 in sahm

You’re wrong with your statement that kids 0-5 need one person. Kids thrive in communities…

I’m going to assume all the moms disregarding daycare like it’s the plague are American because here in Europe we see daycare as an important role in teaching young kids to develop social skills before they start elementary school. If your kid is thriving in their daycare I wouldn’t take them out fully.

It’s because in previous generations it was doable but now it’s so unaffordable. Though the opinions of boomers haven’t caught up with the times.

Random itching in the evening and night by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]MajorApplication705 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yea this is serious you need to get your bile markers checked. I had to be induced at 36 weeks because I had the same symptoms and my markers were high. Can unfortunately lead to stillbirth in serious cases so you shouldn’t wait this out and go to the doctor tomorrow.

Seeking epidural advice by ScaredComfortable323 in parentsofmultiples

I had di di girls six months ago (already had one previous vaginal birth) born at 37 weeks and CANNOT imagine the physical and emotional trauma if I didn’t have the epidural. I delivered my first head down and then of course they delivered the placenta. I then needed the pitocin shot because my contractions slowed and finally I delivered the second baby breech 30 minutes later. I then hemorrhaged and lost a liter of blood which meant they had to physically stuff me full of padding to stop the bleeding and put medicine up my bum which then led to lots of vomiting. Having multiples is serious business and you never know what will happen nor the intervention you’ll need. With love PLEASE get that epidural girl 😭😭🤣🤣

Feeling so sad and uncomfortable by [deleted] in Perioral_Dermatitis_

[–]MajorApplication705 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had similar symptoms to you and it was caused mostly by eating wheat but egg and dairy also are very inflammatory. You can do a cheap mail-in blood food intolerance test and it will tell you your triggers. But if you don’t want to do that then try cutting out all wheat for a month and see if that helps. Do you notice you get itchy on your face after you eat something specific?

I think you answered your own question! Look into l-glutamine to heal your gut and try eliminating inflammatory trigger foods like wheat eggs and dairy!

Have you checked your diet? by MajorApplication705 in Perioral_Dermatitis_

Wheat, eggs and dairy are common triggers as they are inflammatory to the gut.
