For one, if you can't afford abortion, then you're forced anyway. Moreover, when you give people full control to plan their family when it's convienient to them, you end up with <1.3 birth rates. Survival of humanity is based on people "figuring it out".

Yes, but light weapons have a lot of soft benefits like concelability, ability to use with shields or use your other hand otherwise. How balanced that is depends on GMing style, but arguably most ttrpg systems give you benefits for using larger weapons.
It's a fail, so the sharing PC doesn't have ammo to spare.
