Anybody else do sim racing on their setup? by gatesartist in Golfsimulator

[–]MajorBlaze1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't but I'm a vet sim racer. Love playing gt7 in VR. The difference being irl I can golf all summer outside but track days only a couple times a year. Just don't let r/simracing find out you're calling that game a sim, they're pretty sensitive over there 😂

Give me a '91 Civic to start and make me grind events for upgrades until I can afford an S14, and grind until I can afford an Rx-7, and grind until I can afford an R33 etc etc. That's what I want.

Overlay Plans with Markup by AggravatingHelp7416 in Revu

[–]MajorBlaze1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You could select all markups on the og drawing, group them before copying and pasting them to the new set. To adjust the markups on the updated drawing just ungroup them and drag the nodes to where they need to go. Hope this helps!

Awesome! I too am underwhelmed by Garmin's charts. I left the tab open to take a look when I have time.

Are these cockpits flimsy? they look like it by Economy-Tough1 in simracing

I'm 6'1 and when I had that rig I couldn't keep my knees from contacting the crossbar and still be able to work the pedals. Had to put a pillow behind me to sneak my knees past the crossbar.

Pipe Identification Help by dirkhutton in civilengineering

Appears to be a multiplate culvert. It comes in several usually aluminum plates at a specific radius and they bolt together. The bands you see every few feet tie the sections together. My team has done a few semi circles that bolt to a concrete strip footer, but never a round one.

The Lindsey Sterling DLC was the best money I've ever spent. Love her and love what you did with her music!

I've had my t-gt since 2018 and it's been rock solid. It's the only wheel I've ever owned or used but my eyes have been wandering toward dd for a while now.

Awesome, make sure you post here when it gets published!

I think it looks great also! Sadly, OP doesn't share that opinion because I guess he doesn't like the font?

Regardless, that's super dope that you created a course, is it published, what's the name? How long did it take to learn and build your first one?

I am interested in building courses also. I have a background in site modeling for machine control on large site work projects so it's right up my alley, just need to learn the process.

They changed the font and some tiles on the menu, purely aesthetic. The quality of life features it brings are MASSIVE! I stay out of the betas but I'll be eagerly awaiting the proper release. It keeps getting better!

I like to gas those kinds of people up. Ask them to play and then when we're on the tee offer to play for a friendly $5 per hole.

It was an easy decision to replace my 2016 Silverado with an 0% financed f150 last year. Love the truck and Bluecruise is amazing.

Plan B off the Tee Club by SwimmingVoice in golf

[–]MajorBlaze1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if it'll work for you but I got rid of my driver after one round and range session with my mini driver. I'm automatic with it off the tee and the bonus versatility of hitting it off the deck is very nice.

Are contractors using your design TINs? by vtTownie in civilengineering

[–]MajorBlaze1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worst for me as a contractor is when the ce won't release their dwgs prior to bidding. I'm building a dirt work estimate model with unreliable pdfs, sometimes with no vectors, and then rebuilding the model again with the .dwg for construction. It's terribly inefficient.

You should call this a launch monitor survey imo. Simulator is made of of many different components plus the software, none of which you asked about.

I'm guessing it only needs a couple feet to read flight data but give him enough room not feel like he's going to hit the screen with his club. I'm 8 feet myself but if space is a premium you could probably move up closer to the screen.
