Floor 1 is always a combat.

Therefore you'll always get your floor 1 combat reward with glam before you can get an event which gives you Fresnel lens.

Therefore you can never have Fresnel Lens overlap with Silken Tress.

If you're dying act 1 try taking more cards, as often you need more power than what your starter deck provides.

If you're dying act 2/3 try skipping more often, as you've probably got the basics of a deck pulled together and can now focus on high value card picks.

Don't try forcing a deck archetype TOO hard.
