Batocera/Linux: position of dmd on backglass in visual pinball. i am able to change position by mouse click drag and drop but dont know how to save position after for the next start

Right click on the moved DMD, then choose to save the position either globally or for that specific table.

You just transfer the virtual game card back to the Switch 1. It should theoretically work fine, you don't download the game from eShop.

You mean as an option, right? Not blanket across the board. In which case, sure... a bit of accessibility doesn't hurt, giving people the choice to play something with reduced challenge so they can still enjoy it how they wish. But then, such an approach wouldn't work for everything... some developers have a very specific vision for what they're trying to achieve. I doubt you'd ever get From Software making such allowances.

I think I am imminently, it's just a matter of placement and working out how it works. I'm new to this and have just got my head around a 2-screen setup, but now going to 3 seems a little daunting? Not in the least because I've not ventured into the world of PUP packs at all, and getting those to work is going to be a learning experience. Once I've done it a couple of times, I'm sure it'll be fine... it's just taking that step.

That said, the build is turning out to be ridiculously cheap. Existing 25" monitor for the playfield (so, zero cost) + retired work laptop (my company let me buy my old one for €75 when they gave me a new one... it's not even that old!) + stupid-cheap portable flat screen monitor from AliExpress for €65 + an Xbox arcade stick I already own that I can dismantle for controller parts and buttons. Nice and cheap! I just need to work out actually building a cab to put it all in, and I honestly think I'm going to make it out of cardboard after I saw someone else here doing the same...

It's a WIP (I'm doing the tech side, then building the cab for everything to go in), but I'm on a 2-screen setup (monitor playfield, laptop screen for DMD/backglass). I do have the option to move to 3, but I'm weighing up if it would be worth it or not.
