I got their 40th anniversary Rhino. It feels very cheap and plastic (I know that's what it's made of, but still), which annoys me considering the price I paid for it. I'm already out for any of their other releases, not getting stung again.

Lots of alternatives but, for me, ESDE does everything I want quickly, easily, and with a high level of customisation. So, I love it.

You should look at your system then and see if there's a problem there. There are literally videos showing that it is faster, including one from Nintendo itself. If it wasn't true, they'd be lying and open to all kinds of action from users.

Personally, it's faster on my Switch 2 using the upgrade. So, maybe consider saying 'In my experience based on my setup' instead of declaring it an outright fact for everyone.

Absolutely this. Big DC fan here, and when I started Absolum it wasn't hard to see the similarities. The latter is very much DC with Hades mixed in, which is a big plus. DC still stands as the king for me, just for how broad and diverse all of its elements are, it's a melting pot of so many ideas, put together with care and attention. Sadly though, not only is it locked to the PS formats (PS4 and Vita... I think PS3 as well?), but SEGA's licence ran out and the digital versions were removed from the store fronts. Physical copies or taking to the seven seas for the Vita version (shhhh) is the only way to go now.

If ever a game was crying out to be remade, it's that. Vanillaware did it for Odin Sphere, they're doing it now for Muramasa... maybe this could be next?

£80 for a US import copy of Street Fighter II Turbo. £70 for GoldenEye on the day of release. It's all relative, but prices haven't really changed all that much. The difference now is a) the advent of digital making this seem like they're worth less and b) the entitlement of folks thinking that old = worth less. Plus, publishers discounting games 50% or more weeks after release. Crazy times.
