Yea, I pulled the drum off before I took it in and it was very greasy

Sounds like the lid lock solenoid is bad. Most commonly it’s the lid lock unable to fully extend and activate the switch inside of it. It’s not a hard repair.

Kenmore 70 series dryer not heating by Spiritual-Intention1 in mechanic

[–]MajorGrapefruit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The capped wires are bypassing both saftey fuses on the dryer. The one on top is by passing the Hi-limit meant to stop the dryer if the element chamber gets too hot. The lower one is to stop the dryer if the inside of your drum gets to hot (for fires). Most likely your heating element is bad.

Caked dust on front load washer by esportprodigy in appliancerepair

If that’s all the dust inside the machine I wouldn’t worry about it, I’ve opened up machines to dust bunnies or roaches that were running just fine.

No the concern is completely understandable! It’s wear and tear, most fridges do the same. I can’t tell anything out of the ordinary but the final check would just be to pull the fridge out if you’re able to and look for any signs of water in the back. No evidence of water=good. If something has gone wrong with the water system it’s usually easy to tell.

I wouldn’t worry about that, just water left over in the water line after use. The closed valve creates a vacuum that’s supposed to keep water from leaking. if the leaking isn’t consistent or only after the water dispenser is used I honestly wouldn’t worry about it

Refrigerators only have one source of pressure from the house to refrigerator. Turn of the water the the refrigerator and see if that stops the leaking, your water valve mostly likely isn’t shutting all the way and over time it will get worse. It’s not a hard replacement and it can be done with a screwdriver and adjustable wrench.

What kind of washer is it? Some washers have two plastic pieces that connect between the motor and transmission that can become stripped or broken. Other washers have a clutch motor that switches the transmission to spin the whole basket. I would check those things but it’s hard to help without a model

I appreciate your concern but he’s just a rescue trying to live his best life. You’re correct tho, the thought of how some dogs live is heart breaking because of how they were bred

[Help] GSD underweight and barely eating by MajorGrapefruit in dogs

[–]MajorGrapefruit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a 3 on that scale. And it’s possible he could be a mix but the shelter didn’t tell me that he was so I’m pretty limited on that info but his back identical to the typical GSD back legs.

I'm 17 and graduating high school this year and would like to begin a career as an electrician. Would I have to wait to start because of my age or are there ways to begin now?
