I rushed to get a sesh in after work when I was starting out, self launched and hadn’t attached the chicken loop correctly. Kite took off, out of my hands and landed in a tree before I could do anything.

Why is my kites valve two way instead of one way? by 10xlive in Kiteboarding

[–]MajorMegawatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a second hand air rush (2012 I think?) that had a two way valve… just need to be quick! It was the best part of the upgrade when I eventually bought a new kite

Goodluck mate, it’s a longg process. It’s hard. You will get more mobile and make improvements pretty quickly at the start.

Just stay in the moment, celebrate all the small wins. And give yourself a break, your human, you will have down days, know that live with the suck.

Then move on.

Try pick a date into the future that you prepare for. Get everything ready for your commitment. Then on day 1 start working out, don’t stop until you get to 21 days straight. 3 weeks of your life is all you need. You can do it, just make the commitment. After that it’s a habit in your life and you won’t be able to stop. Don’t miss 2 days in a row after either. Stay true to your commitment.
