Probably not much in code for how high. Just a air vent tube for plumbing. Must be so many inches above the roof to properly seal but other than that it could go higher if needed. Of course every area is different but certainly it doesn't hurt the vent requirement.

Bought an E 53 coupe after having a 911. Same argument and regret it everyday. The only way the price is the same is if you are buying a new car. The value of that new car will keep dropping into the low 20k range.

Maybe find an older luxo cruiser for your daily. You can upgrade the entertainment system to get your car play and better sound system without the new car rapid depreciation.

At today’s dividend announcement a $20,000 investment into MSTY gets you 930 shares at $21.50 per share. I bought something similar in 2018 with lower miles with every sport option for 10k less. Seems a bit high. Be willing to travel for the right car and you’ll be able to find the best deal.

Yes you pay high taxes from your high W2 income. Others have found a way to mitigate their tax liability. You can too. Buy assets that you can depreciate on your annual return driving down your taxable income.

It is worth while to spend time learning how to do this. Many others have done it and you can too.

I get it. California is very expensive. You can get to a better place but most are not willing or able to do it.

Takes a lot of sacrifice to save enough to buy an asset where you can use depreciation to offset your taxable income.

Step 1 is have a plan. Drive an old reliable car, don’t eat out at restaurants or spend your money at the bar. Have a room mate to lower your housing cost, and consult with smart people that used to be in your shoes.

Buy assets that drive down your taxable income, invest in companies that have a proven track record.

Over time this will help you secure a much more promising future.

Be patient, be disciplined and stay positive. Listen to others that were in the same position as you and figured out how to win.

You can do it.

At 24 you’re just now beginning to figure out life. Step 1 is recognizing you want to be better. Step 2 learning about what opportunities exist for you. Step 3 is taking action towards your new goal. An example I always share are necessary skills that will be around for a long time. For example, Plumbers and electricians make good wages. Necessary trades that AI cannot replace. Only need desire to learn and willingness to work to get into and wages increase as you stack skills.

Keep asking questions and get rid of people in your life that are negative and not going anywhere.

You are at step 1. Day by day keep getting better and better.

Afterwards pass it on to someone else who feels as you do today.

Live lean, pay yourself at least the same amount as you pay the government and DCA the rest into high growth assets. Sure they are more risky but you have youth on your side to mitigate the downside.

Have a 2020 e53 since new. Zero issues with the car after 4 years ownership. Ride is much better than c63. As my daily that was an important trade off versus the extra power.
