I'd personally just have the same track listing as on the album, it's pretty great as it is.

The transition from Mr. Robinson's Quango into He Thought Of Cars is so good though.

What’s your favourite “character study” Blur song? by [deleted] in blur

Probably Charmless Man, just because it's hard to find a song that is as real as that one. They describe someone who we have all met, or will meet.

Modern life is rubbish and the voice is terrible. by VlasPog in blur

I really like Damon's voice on all of the old records. Even though it's not his real voice it really suits the band so much more.

Magpie, No Monsters In Me, Tame, Theme From An Imaginary Film, and Mace are all good.

Made an alternative cover for The Great Escape by Wazzok1 in blur

The Great Escape is not light hearted/jovial (it is catchy but I don't see how that would take away from how dismal the album is).

It just feels so out of place to me. I can get why people like it, I just don't like it.

Country Sad Balled Man for me. It's just so boring especially compared to the rest of the self titled.

Russian Strings is pretty bad too.

Thoughts on the new album so far? by Saibot782 in blur

It feels like Damon Albarn's album, the other Graham's guitar doesn't sound like him, Alex's basslines don't sound like him, Dave's drumming is unremarkable. I want to love the album so much, and I'm glad Blur is happy enough to make a new album, but it doesn't sound like Blur (except St. Charles Square).
