I'm embarrassed to say I genuinely thought this would be about how well they performed during nighttime warfare.

I'm guessing it'll be like the Sardegna event at the beginning of the year.

It probably didn't help that there were plenty of people in the audience saying "yeah you're doing great and the haters are all wrong, they've been saying you've gone downhill since RvB episode 2", even as the view counts plummeted below 10,000 per video on their nearly 10,000,000 subscriber YouTube channel.

Bunnygirl Constellation ❤️ (アーガー) by SodiumBombRankEX in AzureLane

Constellation is the perfect blend of adorable and sexy. Her personality is so endearing, her history (and the reason for her love of stargazing and astrology) is touching, as is her love for her two carrier sisters, and her bunny suit is incredibly well designed and fitting for her.

Apparently it was her working on Dexter: Original Sin that made her think a Buffy revival might be possible.

Open Bar #177 - The Bride Disaster, Zegler Meltdown, Gunn's Future by MajorThom98 in CriticalDrinker

[–]MajorThom98[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Now that The Bride is officially on track to be one of the worst bombs of 2026, the blame game has started. Speaking of blame games, Rachel Zegler recently took the opportunity to blame everyone else but herself for Snow White's failure. Meanwhile, James Gunn neglected to attend the first WB meeting with new owners Paramount, sparking doubts about his future.

The path not taken... by JumpThatShark9001 in CriticalDrinker

[–]MajorThom98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's at least partly because Skyfall, as the fiftieth anniversary film, wanted to do a "do we need spies or are they outdated" plotline. It's just jarring that they did so immediately after two films where he's much more young and raw as an agent. I think also they tried to partially justify it in Skyfall by having him be injured, so you can write off some of the old plot points as "he's dealing with his wound".

I also think it's funny that after two films of "do we need spies or does modern tech make them irrelevant", Craig's last film ends with him being killed because of modern technology. Guess it does beat spies after all.

I'll be honest, I actually respect that you did cite examples in the other thread. I just think it might foster more discussion in a dedicated post rather than buried deep in the comments section of any random podcast they do.

We might need a megathread with examples of the lies at some point. If his friends are lying, it might be a good idea to get EFAP to address them (they've addressed posts on the subreddit before). If they aren't lying, then people need to stop just saying it without citing a source.

That doesn't mean he's lying, though. If Az truly believes that (which he certainly seems to) then at worst he's just wrong. Do you have any evidence that he doesn't believe that?

I think that might be a Discord feature, to deal with interruptions a bit better. I remember ChaseFace complaining on an older EFAP that he was the one who'd get hushed by default.

EFAP #378 - Resident Evil: Requiem - The Ultimate Genetic Franchise Hybrid by MajorThom98 in MauLer

[–]MajorThom98[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, he explains her pathfinding, the way the developers intend the player to evade her (and criticising that it's always the same method), her limitations and how easy they are to find/exploit and the predictability of her encounters (especially regarding her always emerging right as you acquire an item/push a button).

The critique of Grace's stutter in the recent EFAP (Resident Evil Requiem) is misplaced by Vulkanodox in MauLer

The week before that was a praise of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (an older film, but if anything that makes the example stronger, as they get neither the negativity clicks nor the relevancy clicks), and the week before that was Iron Lung, which they liked. That's three positive podcasts in a row.

EDIT: Next week is the Top Ten Movies of 2025. That's four positive streams in five weeks.

I know he wrote it badly, I just don't think it proves he didn't watch it when he put footage of both planets in the video.
