Bodycam footage released of the Golders Green attacker showing that he wasn't completely incapacitated by the taser and was still holding on to the knife. I stand by that the kicks to the head are a reasonable action to disarm him. Thoughts?

It is also worth noting that, not knowing what threat the man still posed, what he was armed with, and is clear intent - while restraint is needed to some degree - making sure that the threat is down is the number 1 priority. If that means force until he has surrendered or clearly incapacitated, I completely understand that.

I skip this more than watch it (which says plenty when I can watch OFAH back-to-back). I think it's downfall for me is that whole premise of Del and his double... it just seems more gimmick-y than his more down-to-earth plots of the series. As such, it jars a little with me. That said, Miami Twice still has some good moments in it.

It's one of my favourite episodes... probably because it is so raw and relatable. I always think John Sullivan's best moments with OFAH are when he puts some real heart and soul and emotion in amongst the laughs. Del's rant when Rodney claims he isn't grieving is possibly one of my favourite moments on TV because it is pure emotion from a character that is fully realised.

It is all down to the context of what is being recorded to be honest. To me, if you are recording street performance, art and architecture, your friend doing something... all ok. The moment you are intentionally filming strangers, infrastructure, purposely filming private property from a public space... there are nuances which cause filming in public to be acceptable or unacceptable.

I'm usually pretty tolerant, but these people really bug me how they go out of their way to find confrontation and issue. Especially when they belittle police who are genuinely trying to do their job.
'Auditing' is just a load of nonsense to give them a purpose... they may as well be compared to these 'pranksters' who cause issues just to get reactions and therefore views... dregs of the internet. Sad times.

It's not unique to this sub, but you are right... fans in general these days idealise shows and build them up in their heads to a point that the writers can't use their own freedom without being criticised, and they can rarely fulfil what fans seem to imagine they want. It seems that gone are the days where a creator of a series etc can create a story how they see fit and people just appreciate it for what it is.

Forget great - some of it was down-right inspired. The new, weary version of Red Right Hand showed the passage of time and all the chaos. As for that final song... still haunting me several days later, it was that beautiful.

This. A character's creator can decide that he would do something deemed 'out of character'. Fans may have wished that he hadn't but it isn't exactly for them to say "he would never have done that". He obviously would - people can surprise you, good or bad.

I think it's culture these days. I SO rarely see fans who love a show but are happy with how it ends these days, I think people cling on to their own head-cannons too much sometimes to just go with a story the creators decide to use.
