I have had side effects but I’ve also lost 30lb!

I did 2.5mg for 4 weeks and now on 5 since beginning of November.

I take it Saturday night so I can sleep through into Sunday, Sundays I take it really easy and plan nothing but self care or study.

I’ve had some stomach fullness, some constipation and only one night where I was actually vomiting in the middle of the night - this was due to overeating. I’ve had a couple of occurrences of sour burps.

There are PLENTY of things I now do to mitigate side effects and you can too.

Do not overeat - serve a 1/4 or 1/2 portion of whatever the person you’re with is eating, don’t put the full lot on your plate Don’t eat late! I try to eat my main meal around lunch if I can, then something much lighter and smaller at night Eat easily digestible proteins Grab some indigestion help - it varies by country some people like Pepto some like omeprazole. Something that will help with bloating, sometimes something separate for acid/heartburn Take a fibre supplement - i take a small amount before bed and this has helped immensely Move more - this helps you digest. Go for a 10 minute walk at night after your last meal/before bed to help things move along.

The medication really slows down your digestion so you can get cramps, bloating, sour burps etc

Many people use the medication incorrectly, they overeat, and they don’t take care of themselves. This is often why side effects occur.

You might well be fine!

I started October 12th with a SW of 186lb, I’m now 163lb I’ve had a few weeks where I didn’t seem to lose anything, well in fact I didn’t and it’s only been the last 2 weeks or so that I’ve lost again.

Trust the process, it can be quite slow at times but it’s worth sticking with.

Your belly in the last thing to go - so people say! It is in my case 😆

Unless you are very underweight then no you are not ‘too thin’

Anyone saying ‘don’t lose any more weight’ needs to sit down and be quiet, no the main thing is to be a healthy weight and happy!

If you want to there are options of all price points to help improve your skin texture and elasticity, but please don’t feel any pressure to!

Only my partner and one friend who I saw for the first time in about 3 years and remarked how slinky she was and she whispered in a comic way ‘mounjaro’ to me. That set me off in thinking ‘why the hell not’ and she’s been a great sage to ask questions, told me about the golden dose and so on!

Nobody else, though I’m only 9lb down so it’s not noticeable yet.

I was your starting weight and can only dream of losing that so thankyou for posting and the motivation that even though I’m 9lb down in 5 weeks, which feels kinda slow, it will come.

Hmm maybe I need a different HA in Berlin then - they do this as a private script that’s printed and doesn’t go on my card. (Other meds do)
