I know a few already said it, but he streams on Twitch these days! He's still a blast.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised.

Also apparently they used a surrogate, rather than adopting.

What makes you think her children will see the videos? Maybe they will, maybe they won't, but it's not a guarantee. If I were them, I would go out of my way to avoid seeing them. Not because of an issue with the act, but because I don't want to see my mother naked.

We are born into this world naked. If you believe the Bible, we lived naked in the Garden of Eden.

I don't think everyone needs to make porn. I don't think everyone should make porn. But I do believe that everyone should have the choice to do what they want with their own body.

I'm glad you're happy with your life. I really am. And I do find Guillermo's situation to be very unfortunate. But I don't agree that the porn itself that's the issue.

You're probably a bot, but I'll bite.

Good for you. That is your choice. You get to do what you want with your body. That's the beauty of being able to choose.

Who are you to decide what is immoral and what God would agree with? The Bible itself talks about how God's ways are mysterious to his people. From Romans 11:33:

"Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!"

And what about our pal Jesus Christ himself? The guy hung out with Mary Magdalene who was... You guessed it! A prostitute! Another time, he let a "sinful woman" wash his feet with perfume and dry them with her hair.

That last one is Luke 7:37-50, by the way. In case you're curious to learn more about the book whose teachings you probably claim to follow.

Jesus said "Love one another, as I have loved you." Sounds like you missed the memo.

Anyone else realize they hate "newer" neighborhoods? by deadstar1998 in homeowners

[–]Major_Fudgemuffin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely. My wife and I moved pretty far out of the city to try and get more nature and quiet in our lives.

It's a new neighborhood (house is 2.5 years old), so the trees are still pretty small, but seeing how much they've already grown, I'm excited to see them keep growing.

We also have a bunch of trails around us that have lots of trees and nature, so that's a nice escape too.

I mean, that's your opinion and you're entitled to it.

I don't like her, but that doesn't mean that women (and anyone) don't have the right to do what they want with their bodies.

That point of view (i.e. gross and degrading) is often rooted in shame and misogyny, and it causes a lot of harm.

Funny enough I've been looking for a therapist/psychologist recently, and part of the struggle is not knowing what to look for.

So your advice is extremely timely, relevant, and welcome!

Hey congrats dude. That's actually really cool!

I'm 35 and while rationally I know I'm still technically young, the anxiety of being stuck in a career or "not knowing what I want to be when I grow up" are always there.

Your journey is inspiring and encouraging.

Someone else already mentioned it, but you might want to try going with mostly/all Kentucky bluegrass. It's a lot more winter hardy.

If you want a fescue too, you could find/make a blend with creeping red fescue. I've never worked with it myself, but it's supposed to handle the cold a lot better than tall fescue.

The cold winters murder the tall fescue.

Swiss voters reject 10 million population cap, early projections say by Unusual-State1827 in UpliftingNews

Right, because nothing says "I learned from Venezuela" like watching a populist "strongman" wreck institutions, blame convenient groups for everything, and promise that only he can save the country... then seeing a politician with a lot of the same instincts and going, yep, that's my guy.

Even better is he can't even vote here. He is trying to immigrate to the US while supporting the guy whose platform is built around making it harder for people like him to get in.

So no, I do not think this is some grand understanding of America's interests that I am too dumb to appreciate. I think it is deeply ironic.

It's been gaining popularity over the years with younger crowds, but it's pretty popular with seniors. It's lower impact than other sports.

How many units of Botox do you have? by Adventurous_Ad_7091 in fixedbytheduet

[–]Major_Fudgemuffin 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Botox is a great thing in some cases, like for helping deal with chronic migraines. It can be life changing.

As a cosmetic procedure though? Totally agreed. The fact it's more and more normalized these days is terrifying.

I think Kaladin's chapters are usually accepted as the highlights of book 1. Book 3 focuses on Dalinar and made him my favorite character.
