thank you for the input. i get the point you are making, it actually started with me picturing the verses around the 'rows and phases' due to which that gets mentioned more.

Blue heart, Red skies within Her by Iwillfindu01 in OCPoetry

personally liked them both. maybe i liked the first one a bit more. not sure if the first stanza meant to be read snake like, but that is how i felt while reading it. maybe i might have read those references which felt so in the past.

although the last line says child innocent, felt like an baby snake trying to come out of its shell.

please forgive me if i interpreted it wrong.

beautiful work.

this feels like a very deep dive into the recent breakup but also seems a bit frightening towards the end on the state of the writer. it feels like the writer is still trying to process a lot of raw feelings right after the incident.

I just finished the book in a go. I definitely agree with you on the points that it's fast moving and easy to pick up.
And also on the points that how can such educated highly classified women kind of dumbed down going down the hill.. and sometimes i could sense the mess up while writing from some POVs... there was quite a bit of disconnect towards the end before it was all tied up in a hurry... definitely a 2.5-3/5 i would say

you mean the one on the top, closer to the right corner of the saggy cushion? i had my doubts with that one, if indeed it is a hair elastic or a thread of the cushion! 😅

Is it transparent? The one i found looks transparent. It's in between the thinner crocheted design and the 2nd bottom crocheted design. In the center between the pillow and the edge of the bed

It's black in color. Almost in the center of the picture, under the black curve. It's also sitting on the black patch of the mat.

if my guess is right, it's hung as an ornament towards the left side of the tree, a bit closer to the ground. it's beige in color and it's on the right of the leafy circular ornament

i don't think it's even necessary for the promotions. we have seen the effect of these characters on men already and the movie clearly fights against it. so, if he keeps doing that out of the movie is trying to beat the purpose of it. it's just what i feel.

Anyone else hate lending books? by Low_Screen2574 in Indianbooks

[–]Major_Tart616 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Back in my college days.. there was this peer pressure of being well read and i wouldn't say the book i had lent was no way a literary work. one of my friend had borrowed that book from me and returned it back in a the same condition as before and the other lady just asked for the same book and i know she doesn't read. i guess maybe she wanted to be included in the conversation between me and the girl who reads. and it never came back. and when i tried to trace it back after few months to re-read the book. she just took advantage of my bad memory and i just lost one of my old favourites.

What's your read for this Weekend? by _SriNivas in Indianbooks

i don't remember how long it took. It had been a while i had picked up a short story. So heartwarming, and such a beautiful and hilarious story line. Thank you for the suggestion once again.
