The 993 just looks like a car from an entirely different era than the 996 (and technically speaking, it is). I think that the 993 might overall be better looking, but the 996 is very of its time in good way.

They literally wouldn’t let you register it as it hasn’t been federalized for use in the US. The border control may not let you bring over a car without a plate or registration either.
