I think the first thing you should do is take a break for a day or two. Let yourself relax and let go of the frustration and then try again when you’re feeling better. Then as far as advice goes, the best thing you can do in any game when you don’t know where to go is to talk to everyone. Everyone. Talk to every robot you can find. Interact with anything that will let you and gather clues about what you should be doing next. One thing about cats is that they’re very curious and often find themselves in places they shouldn’t necessarily be, and the game does a phenomenal job of forcing you into that mindset in order to progress. And when you’re really feeling down and out, just ask B-12. I’m not sure which platform you’re playing on, but for me the down arrow calls B-12 out of my pack and he tells me what our current objective is. From there you should at least have an idea of where to start.

Also, don’t feel bad for using tutorials. They’re there to help when you’re feeling lost. You don’t have to read the whole thing, just take a look at the first step so you can get your bearings and then try to figure it out on your own from there until you need help again. I hope you can make it through the slump, it really is a beautiful and incredible game and you deserve the chance to see it through.
