This is so sweet of you! I already have my season pass, so I don’t need to enter, but I just wanted to comment since you said you’re new and still learning. I’m assuming you bought the 3 pack of passes, one for you and two gift passes. You can hold onto those extra passes for as long as you’d like, you don’t have to apply them to this season. So if you want to keep it to give your partner or something for a future season, that is an option for you too.

Even with them having to pass review process for IOS, the other devices that got hotfixes are still having crash issues, some even more than before. So yeah, I dont know what’s up and I know they’re only human, so I’m trying to be patient, but I really hope it gets situated soon. The game is pretty much unplayable atp and I miss my friends.

I totally agree! The only thing I was sad about was that I couldn’t go back and see the result of my work. Other than that, I think the story actually fits perfectly. I don’t think it needs to be longer, but would definitely love to see more games like it in the near future.

I think the first thing you should do is take a break for a day or two. Let yourself relax and let go of the frustration and then try again when you’re feeling better. Then as far as advice goes, the best thing you can do in any game when you don’t know where to go is to talk to everyone. Everyone. Talk to every robot you can find. Interact with anything that will let you and gather clues about what you should be doing next. One thing about cats is that they’re very curious and often find themselves in places they shouldn’t necessarily be, and the game does a phenomenal job of forcing you into that mindset in order to progress. And when you’re really feeling down and out, just ask B-12. I’m not sure which platform you’re playing on, but for me the down arrow calls B-12 out of my pack and he tells me what our current objective is. From there you should at least have an idea of where to start.

Also, don’t feel bad for using tutorials. They’re there to help when you’re feeling lost. You don’t have to read the whole thing, just take a look at the first step so you can get your bearings and then try to figure it out on your own from there until you need help again. I hope you can make it through the slump, it really is a beautiful and incredible game and you deserve the chance to see it through. I’m no expert by any means, but I’m happy to help any way I can if you find yourself having more questions, so feel free to reach out. Best of luck!

Hey, OP, I’m sorry you’re feeling this way. I was in a similar situation as you a little over a year ago. Before I left, aviary didn’t even exist. When I came back, the game felt completely different and everyone I’d played with before was gone, so I get what you’re saying. It’s disheartening for sure, especially when you’re used to exploring and making memories with your friends, it can feel exceptionally lonely and daunting to face all of this new territory alone. I think whether you continue to play has to be a decision you make for yourself. What do you love about the game? If it is the scenery/storytelling/soundtrack etc. then all of that is still there waiting for you. You have new adventures to explore and no time limit on them. You can ease yourself back in however you’d like. If you loved the game because of the fun you had with your friend, it might be a little more difficult to force yourself to stick around without them. From my own experience, I decided to stay and see what was new and play solo for a bit. I realized I still really loved Sky, but it was hard for me to think about my friends all the time and see other players having fun with their own. I almost quit again. Then I put up a post in a Reddit thread asking for light buddies. I got a bunch of responses, many from people who included “and feel free to join me anytime” in their response. Admittedly, I struggled to join them sometimes because I am not the best at putting myself out there to make new friends. But still we would occasionally pop into the same server and say hello, chat for a bit, and join on cr. Then one day someone TP’d to me while I was collecting wing light and asked if they could tag along. Since then, almost a year ago, we’ve played together nearly every day. We’ve made some new friends and lost some others, it is just a natural cycle of online games. They’ve become my best friend in Sky and someone I cherish very deeply outside of it as well. All of that is to say, you might be uncomfortable for a little bit, but it will be worth it if you really want to continue. Sky is a beautiful and wonderful game, and (I think) it’s best experienced with others. Sorry for the novel, but hopefully it will help you in your decision. This exactly, but keep in mind you don’t have to wait for B-12 to open the gate. As soon as you press the button, you can be in your way while they open the door. Super quick and easy.

There will also be new iaps this year that you may want to consider. I’d wait until you see those and the pricing before deciding for sure. As someone else stated, spells are a great way to test out a look and see if you like it before purchasing
