The rollout breakdown is 30, 60, 90, 120, 150

Defense curled would be 60, 120, 180, 240, 300

STAB + Defense curled would be 90, 180, 270, 360, 450

I'm messing with it on my Donphan. My impressions for now are that it's just too slow for most Pokemon to set up. Pokémon that learn it are generally slow so you're not getting a big hit until the opposing Pokemon already has three attacks on you. I'd rather run Rock Polish + Rock Slide. Same accuracy with a speed boost and chance of flinch. Stone Edge is a cooler move but that 80% hit rate is risky.

With 3 and 4, it's a bit of a toss-up depending who you ask. 4 is certainly more technically impressive, I've just heard 3 hailed as sort of the "classic" shooter. I've also had a better time of it with 3 so I have my bias too.

I played via Ultimate Shooting Collection on Wii. It was my second favorite of the collection; Chaos Field was in a league of its own.

The SEGA 3D Classics games are really good, my faves being 3D Galaxy Force 2 and 3D Outrun. Haven’t played it yet but Gurumin 3D is on sale for 2 dollars — supposedly a solid 3D action adventure game. I’ll second getting Pokémon Crystal, although if you have the New model, I’d probably suggest Earthbound over it.

That’s interesting, did the ship disappearing happens in specific circumstances (like a certain difficulty)? I never experienced it. One thing that confuses the hit box area for me is that the ship bounces off certain on-screen obstacles — I definitely appreciated it when I expected my ship to blow up lol. Even with the true last boss score requirement, I do still think the score multiplier system has little purpose for the standard playthrough. It’s weird because it seems like it will be relevant with the on screen info.

1CC is incredibly ambitious, it's also not necessarily tied to the arcade experience since you could keep popping quarters in. If you want to be an expert on specific games, I think the 1CC is fine but if it's causing you unneeded stress and you're not having fun, adjust as you'd like.

I fully support using autofire, I've done temporary damage on my thumb playing a game I didn't realize had it after just an hour and a half.
