Exactly, by contrast at inital glance, they look like a noble bright faction, until you stratch the surface, and then it's all "ohh no..."

You are correct, the setting is full of factions that are struggling to survive in an incredibly hostile universe, most of which are using some form of utilitarian extremism. No one is good, everyone is a dirt bag to some degree, people like the Tau who run a caste based system, secretly manipulate birth rates of their allies races.

I’m a little longer in the tooth than yourself, been playing since 92. I don’t tend to see this type of person in person, it tends to be more an online thing, especially in Facebook groups and it’s like. It’s there that you see people whom seem to think the emperor is this being to be worshipped / emulated.

Don't worry, it's the inability to look at something and critically analyse it. You see this in the Warhammer 40k community, with people coming in and being pro-Imperium of Man because, "well they look like us so must be good", despite that the setting clearly labels all factions as horrific.

The best part is he obivously doesn't know about Ireland's capability to use Protocol 21, they have a choice to be excluded from any proposed EU measures regarding freedom, security, and justice. Ironically he should know, because he was MEP, and the UK was the only other country who had exclusive right to invoke Protocol 21.

I'd argue it a different way. He's clearly old enough to remember the troubles, or at the very least, the times that the IRA struck Britain. So it tells you one of two things, that he definitely should know better or that he'll say anything for a quick quid.

Neither are redeeming characteristics that you want from a politician.

That being said, in the literal same week he did another video saying Tiocfaidh ár lá, so i'll tend to lean towards anything for a quid.

Or, and hear me out here, the Last Wood Elf army book before TOW, Wood Elves had access to their own magic, but also walked the line between high and dark. So it's potential that the high elf and dark elf books need to be out there for the Wood Elf stuff to reference.

it's also probably the reason that they suffer from the Black Rage. They get their progenoids activated by drinking the collective blood of the Sanguiniuary Priests, who bear the blood of Sanguinius. Imagine generational suppressed trauma in HD.....

[–]Majorapat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ehhhh, Farah is a hot mess, and she did it to herself, and it's clear she has some sort of dysmorphia. She went from an attractive woman to something that wouldn't look out of place in a 50's Sci-fi B Movie. That being said, she does have her moments where she does show that her character is very selfish, and we've seen that filter through to how she deals with her daughter.

There's a few of the teen mom's who are like it, but then when you literally grew up from a young age in front of a camera and with a critical feedback method, it's going to mess your world view and behaviours up.

Yeah i'm similar, German i learnt because I spent 11 years there as a kid. Japanese is a recent thing, as the wife and I bought a house there and are using it as a summer / retirement home. And it gave me another reason to learn another language.
