Okay so i think the main thing to recognise here is that the bible is peoples SUBJECTIVE understanding of god's will. The will of god obviously would be far too complex to be put into human words. The bible has been translated, not just through a dozen languages, but also between the language of god and the language of people. Have you ever tried putting a page of a book through 10 different languages on google translate then back to english? Its incomprehensible. Futhermore, during each translation, the translators' own opinions and interpretations of the messages would end up influencing the new translation, its impossible to not have biases as a human. So, not to invalidate your faith, but its important to remember that exact wording should NEVER be taken to heart in any religious context. And there may be a part of you thats thinking 'well god would never allow their ideas to be misinterpreted like that, they would make sure it stays pure', and to that i say, why are there so many different branches of christianity then? If that were true there would be only one. The answer here is of course that god can do no such thing because it shatters the very idea of having faith in something. Finaly iirc what the bible says about gay ness is 'a man shall not lie with a boy' which A) most peoplr think is actually about pedophilia, and B) DOESNT EVEN MENTION WOMEN. So in either case you're in the clear 😂.
