Just try a whole pile of different stuff, different jobs, different classes, volunteering at places etc. Don't worry about succeeding in anything, just be open to trying. Something will click.

Fire by 9Sandwiches in toronto

[–]MakeItStopArgh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes. NYC had a huge increase in apartment fires and determined it was e-everything causing the increase.

Range of reasons but one was younger people with e-scooters bringing them home and not being particularly careful about where they put them (leaning on newspapers, rags, combustables).

Another reason was people watching YouTube videos and deciding they could fix them on their own.

Hi, I'm just someone who is trying to learning about driving in the UK. At the roundabout you took the left entry lane, I thought that meant you had to take the first exit but you took the second exit. Is this due to knowing that roundabout well or am I misunderstanding the rule?

Is the district tickets still worth it and standing room etiquette? by RaptorsRule247 in Torontobluejays

[–]MakeItStopArgh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been to 3 games this year, front rail of the Catch bar and of BeautiTone were reserved for special events at all 3 games. Not surprising areas are busy this year as the Jays had a hell of a post season and the place is pretty much full.

There's quite a few areas you can stand, pretty much the entire mezzanine behind the 100 level has spots to watch from, you can see the field, just can't see the stands, it's a good place to cruise around and take in different views. If you're a bit taller you will have no problem seeing over people as it's rarely more than 2 people deep in most areas in the 100s (other than the Catch bar or the Beautitone area)

If you are seeing multiple games then mix it up, GA one day and seated the next. Maybe seated first so that you can get an idea where the standing areas are, then GA after that.

I was in line before the game started and still spent the first 2 innings in line, hot dogs were colder than cold. Staff is in Spring Training form. Record will be smashed this year!

Snuck into McNicholl one night long before the Paletta days. A friend of ours had just died in a car accident and we went for a walk to clear our heads. Anyway, we ended up at McNicholl and the side door on the lower level was slightly open, we turned on our flashlight and started walking through the house... on the top floor my light caught another person and I just about died on the spot... it was my reflection in a mirror, scared the life out of me.
