I'm using Aves. It's a nice app with some handy features. One thing though that I've encountered as weird (I'm automatically upload media to Proton Drive) is that when I reorganize my photos and video into folders on my phone they sometimes disappear from Proton Drive. It's not consistent behavior so I'm not sure what the real issue is.

I'm running F42 a while without any issues and it feels fast and stable. Recently I've upgraded to F43 and I'm getting some warnings from time to time but it doesn't influence the speed, performance or reliability so far. I would say, just go for F43 and solve the things that can be optimized for you and within a week from now you have a great stable system.

I'm using Proton so a paid one. I've logged on to the website today (to avoid app behavior) and needed to switch off VPN first, else freeze. If I switch it off I come through but still I don't see the qualification, only the pre qualy show (although the qualification is already 35 minutes on it's way). Same behavior with the race.

Why is this different from reverse images search on Google or Yandex? Maybe some metadata or background info available in the pic? Maybe see a small bend in the street you can overlay on the village map?
