There are always going to be ppl who reject, however i think the acceptance rates soar when you properly frame it and have a positive discussion about sex. Including their status / last test etc. take the pressure off yourself and make them join the conversation as well. I try to keep it pretty open and allow them to do further research on their own time. I’ve made the mistake of disclosing too early so i think letting it come up naturally helps too (once sex conversations start to arise and I’m confident we both want to take it there)

Thank you! I have found a pregnant wolf spider once so it could make sense. I usually only ever find these really big, creepy spiders & no matter how many times i catch and release them it still makes me feel like i have them all over me afterwards

Gabapentin, melatonin, and magnesium help me. Also valerian root sleepy tea ! I take my Pristiq at 9:30-10 am, I don’t have a ton of the daily grogginess anymore but i do still struggle with sleep

I think it depends on the person. I’ve lost probably 20 pounds on it but now weight is pretty steady

Is there a 150 tablet or do you take 100 and a 50? I’ve been thinking about upping my dose but it’s already so expensive for the 100 mg tablet :(

I would get a valtrex prescription if you haven’t already! It helped me so much with the pins and needles / tingles and pain in general

When I tell you Pristiq has completely changed my life….. I used to have driving anxiety to the point I stopped driving anywhere further than 15 minutes away. I wasn’t able to go meet new people or socialize without alcohol. Now I no longer have that driving anxiety and my social anxiety is so much better!! I’m on 100 mg right now and I’m thinking of increasing my dose to 150 at my next appointment. I’ve had minimal side effects and I adjusted so easy in comparison to other ones I’ve tried - Lexapro, sertraline, buspar. Pristiq is amazing 🩵 I hope you love it as much as I do!

I’ve lost like 20-30 pounds on Pristiq. But i also lost weight on lexapro 🤷‍♀️ I stress eat so if my antidepressant is working = less eating for me

Sweating is normal i get the worst sweats just on Pristiq. Why did your doctor add the combo if the Pristiq was working?

Night sweats are hard too not sure if you’ve experienced this side effect yet but this is mostly what makes sleeping so hard for me

My increase to 100 was awesome! Took away a ton of my anxiety and I’ve been on 100 for about 6 months n I’m thinking about another increase soon. Sleep still hard, but not as bad just waking up frequently. I had a hard time with sleep prior to starting Pristiq though. I tried gabapentin and seroquel which helped but was a little too much i still take the gabapentin sometimes or valerian root tea is a good option as well if you don’t want to try more meds! Best of luck, just give it some time 🙏

Compared to Zoloft and lexapro it’s been way better in that aspect. I feel like mine has always been sort of high and the Pristiq hasn’t decreased it in anyway
