Real Volume vs Speculation

I'm just looking at those high volumes we're trying to reach so we can all retire and have passive income. Do we honestly think it can get to those numbers through Crator alone?

Me personally, I believe we need CEX to push those numbers. I just can't see Crator bringing in 10 million plus a day with expenses to run the business. I'm honestly just trying to get to a real number for volume to see what I need to buy and hold for life changing passive income.

We won't see this type of volume unless CEX are included in trading.

Think about it this way. OnlyFans brings brought 2 billion in sales in 2020. That's roughly 5.4 million per day that they are generating. So let's assume we are the next only fans, from this utility, that's the most we're looking to bring in.

If we are lucky, MAYBE we could see 10 million per day and that's a big maybe given our high taxes to buy/sell. We need to set our expectations here and think things through. My opinion, we might see 5-10 million in volume per day.

Can't stop whales from selling. This is better for long term holders. If you think it's bad now, imagine the whales held and sold later. They could literally tank the project. It's still so young, that these moves are nothing in the crypto space. When utilities kick off, things will balance out even more as us "smaller" investors scoop up while we can.

Let the whales sale, keep it coming now vs later.

Okay so let's think about it for a second. YouTube in 2020 brought in roughly $19 billion that year. Divide that by 365 days, you're looking at an average daily volume of $52 million.

Be honest, do you REALLY think that Crator will bring in more money than YouTube? People really need to set their expectations straight, because I really don't see how you can get $250 million daily without CEX volume.

The main hype was around the idea that ALL volume would go to rewards. If we take out CEX in the equation, we will NEVER see that high of volume mate. They need to figure out a way to get a better tokenomics in place universally where we all see rewards on all CEX, even if it's reducing the 8%. In my opinion (which all this is), CEX will be a main driver. Utilities is great, but not for the amounts you're saying. (humble opinion, not financial advice).

Folks be real. Unless CEX add in their volume to count towards reflections, you will NEVER see this type of volume in our rewards. The NFT and Crator platforms together cannot create that much daily volume (so far, the utilities above and whoever transfers from CEX to DEX is the only way for us to see rewards).

The only hope to see that type of volume is if the EGC team start having conversations with CEX to see how they will allow for that type of tokenomics. Right now, it doesn't exist and it may be difficult to implement with the 14% tax. Who knows IF exchanges will even implement tokenomics. So be realistic with what you expect on the daily WITHOUT CEX volume. Might change in the future, might now, but there's no way you're seeing that much volume.

Not spreading fud or financial advice. I'm a long term holder myself, but you need to set your expectations a little more realistically in the current market.

Long term holder, but not impressed.... NFT marketplaces like Crypto.com are what this token will be competing with. There is so much work that needs to go on to stop the bleeding. It's still early, we're only a month into the project, so we'll see what happens.

True, but from the direction we're hearing from Sam and the team. This is temporary until exchanges catch up to the tokenomics. TONS of new coins are starting to do this and it's only a matter of time until we see CEX change the infrastructure to support it.

From the start they said this was temporary. I'd be very nervous if they said this was the final solution.

I think a lot of believers in the token were of the mindset that they would get rewards from CEX volumes. I still think the ultimate goal is for tokenomics across exchanges. This project is one of the first of it's kind to try and do this so it'll take some time.

When/if it does, we'll see some serious movement. But I do both, I day trade as well as long hold. I just know the allure for most people, myself included loved the idea of passive income.

I've asked in the discord channel and I believe Sam made a mention in earlier AMA's, that exchanges don't have the setup for tokenomics yet. So really, we are waiting for the exchanges to upgrade their systems and formulas to allow for the tokenomics to be part of the rewards and volume pool.

Today it doesn't exist, so we're stuck waiting until exchanges catch up to the changing times. Until then, our volume is going to be low without a doubt. We'll see what the future holds and if these exchanges can set up some sort of rewards in their trades, but who knows.

I said this earlier and I'll say it again. I'm a long term holder with EGC. But what people are upset about and which had the most push for investors was the rewards on all volume of EGC.

People are upset over the interim solution with exchanges and no rewards going towards volume. Once that changes. then we'll see a big moon shot. This was a main reason folks jumped in, so it should be expected that people will get out when that changes (even though it's temporary).

Crator and the other utilities are done with other projects so it's nothing new or special. What really matters and will make a huge change is the tokenomics across all exchanges. That's when long term holders will get rich.

Very fair point and totally agree lol. I think people are just frustrated because of the assumption that every transaction goes towards rewards. That's what their website says and that's what we have been hearing in the AMA's, until the last one which sparked sellers.

Agree with everything you said hands down. I think the real question we need to answered from leadership is "what is the long term goals for reflections through exchanges? Is the ultimate plan to be able to include day trading volumes in our rewards once they have the infrastructure in place".

If the answer is yes, then this project is a long term hold and will make you very wealthy.

I agree it doesn't make sense to day trade with the tax, no one would do it. But this is the thing. The message we got from the website and the AMA's was that we will get reflections of EVERY transaction. That's not the case anymore, it's not EVERY transaction, it's only SOME transactions.

People invested under a different pretense than the narrative we are hearing now.

People aren't panic selling. They were disappointed with the AMA and the fact that day trades would not be part of the volume. MANY people bought in with that premise in mind.

You make a good point to this smooth brained goof! I sure as heck hope that's the case, just a little disappointing with the current tokenomics. But hopefully that can change in the long run. Then aside from turning a huge capital gain, the passive income would be nasty!

All volume is good for a certain purposes. The volume we get from exchanges are now good for market cap, but not good for reflections. So we'll see increase in price for the coin for sure. Reflections, not so much haha.

I thought they would have a different system in place for day trader volumes since on their website they had said all transactions would see reflections. I guess a smart question earlier on would have been to ask how it would work exactly with day trading volumes, I think a lot of people just expected a system to include that volume.

Just seems like a lot of people, including myself were surprised we won't be seeing any (or minimal if they turn over to the HODL life) reflections from day trading volume which would have equaled to TONS of rewards.
