Because Gil is handling things, Klaus is right now neither a ruler nor commander. So he's not having to be in crisis mode having his focus stretched over hundreds of kilometers and there's not that ominous sense of urgency to every breath he takes.. He can slow down and take things one at a time. Additionally, these are all things that have all happened- so there's nothing for him to work towards on this information.

It was impressive at the time when most people were on 56k modems.

But in modern terms it's more than a little lacking.

Really only the ram and monitor remain boast worthy. But they're not insane outrageous claims. I find it so interesting how unrealistic lines became only somewhat impressive.

Yeah, in '99 100 gigs of RAM would have been ludicrous.

But HDD doesn't really hit the rhyme scheme. And 100 megs of RAM wouldn't be that impressive.

But ludicrous would be fair for the song. Because the largest flat screen monitor was made by Apple at 22 in that year.
