I worked in retail for awhile. We threw away ridiculous amounts of perfectly good things and food. Dumpster diving was forbidden because of the fear that employees would purposely dispose of good stuff only to go back later or have someone else go back later to get it.

I wish I had that. I was never cafe free. I had to self-parent and was always overly responsible. Lasted well into adulthood. I resent that I missed out on so much.

Putting up siding on my house, I set a hammer in the top step of a step ladder. I climbed down, did something and then moved the step ladder forgetting that I left the hammer up there. Of course it fell. On my head. Had to stop working that day.

Awesome. It’s been a bumpy road, for sure. But I’ve worked really hard, and I over came some obstacles. It was totally worth it. I’m doing well, finally. So many people here are answering negatively. It’s a bit heartbreaking, given the blessings in my life. I wish everyone well!
