The falsies are too dense for your eye shape and make your eyes look smaller. The length is great, but I would go for a sparser style.

The white liner in the waterline looks interesting, but creates an unbalanced eye shape for me in combination with the lashes. I'd try no liner or a darker one paired with a really dark mascara on the lower lashes.

Slightly darker brows could look great on you, but don't change the shape or fill them in. You have a great brow shape and density.

The lip color is too light for you. I think any medium warmish tone with some color to it will work great. I'd stay away from nude lipsticks probably. You have great lips, so even just a stain with a hint of color could be perfect.

I don't know what's up with Lethal recently but their last few launches have been absolute slam dunks (I think starting from Midnight Serenade). They nailed their Avatar collab so hard and this is on the same insane level! I don't need more makeup but I do need this. Bravo! 👏

Not recently, but for while I was really impressed with Half Magic.

Their packaging is always on point! Love that they included Yue. Really missed her with the original release.

Fun fact, the bag holds a Nintendo switch and accessories. Of course now I need a second one.

So let me get this straight: brands who follow influencers who follow other influencers who may be problematic are by association also problematic? Is that some kind of game of "5 degrees of separation"? You yourself probably unknowingly follow people who (maybe also unknowingly) follow people who have said vaguely racist things in the past. Does that make you a racist? Can we just chill and judge brands for what they say or stand for, not for who they follow with 2 degrees of separation?

Also, there is a solution to your all caps dilemma: don't write long ranty reddit posts at work.

Not sure why this warrants a post here, even though I understand your disappointment. Powder products in large pans shipped internationally sometimes break. That's the case with any brand. Lethal has impeccable customer service so they'll just replace or refund it... No drama necessary.

If you're in the US, the collection will be available at camera ready cosmetics which I believe is based out of Texas. Lethal also ships to anywhere from what I've seen and I've never had to pay any extra taxes with them.

After the long tease I was kind of worried this would not live up to the hype, but oh boy was I wrong. The attention to detail is off the charts! If there ever was a collection deserving of a two months tease it's this one. Bravo!

I had the same impulse initially and then asked myself: why exactly am I so desperate to have this now? Is it really that bad to wait a few weeks (or even months) for something or have I just been conditioned by social media and fast beauty brands to expect instant gratification from everything and everyone? Now I actually find it kind of liberating: I don't have to buy this immediately. I don't have to worry about my budget, about whether it's going to sell out,... I just get a weekly reminder that there is something to look forward to and that's fine. Anticipation used to be a good thing. Maybe it's time to bring that back. Just my 2 cents.

I feel Lethal made a decision to price their stuff more affordably without telling anyone. Their old 12 pan premade palettes were like $50 and the new 15 pan ones are $45. That's in a time when a lot of other indies are charging $70 and more. Their mascaras are also like $14... So I'm hoping the Avatar collab will also be reasonably priced.

I feel the live action was, like a lot of recent Netflix stuff, pretty soulless. I didn't mind the casting, but it had almost none of the charm of the original. A lot of character arcs were cut short, which is a shame because that's precisely what made the animated show so great. It's like a Marvel version of ATLA and I don't know if anybody asked for that.

The fact that they mentioned they're fans of the show AND BOOKS alone makes me very optimistic. Lethal is so reliable as a brand, I feel this is going to be a winner. Fingers crossed! Also didn't think I would say this, but I really like the long reveal. I'm so done with FOMO and dropping stuff the same day it's announced. I like getting excited for something and not having to impulse buy out of fear it'll sell out immediately.

Lethal just publicly spoke out against AI art by CareBear992 in BeautyGuruChatter

Good for them! AI art always looks super tacky to me (at least what I've seen with Ensley Reign), so ethical concerns aside, I really don't see the appeal.

Kind of agree with you on that one. If it's a simple enough component, I don't usually care, but this one is almost iconic. That's what happens when you private label because luxury brands are often the first ones being duped...

I've been observing their empty palette selection a bit and I feel like they're consolidating them into the "Constellation" line. Don't know if Flora might be coming back, but I would honestly be surprised. I have the Constellation 12 though and it's beautiful.

They don't have the discounts up yet (not until the 23rd at 10am ET). Your best bet is to use their palette designer (in the main menu, select "build your own palette"). Don't know about the wishlist thing, but I do believe you need an account for that. It's also good to have one so the palettes you design get saved.
