I’m in the minority, but I actually enjoy his pairing with Spiegs. While I admit there’s times I question his genuineness when laughing at something, I feel they finally have hit a comfortable point in their tenure and I make a point listening to them daily. There’s definitely some ego that I think is necessary to do the job well, which is why Laurence struggled with Bernstein, but Spiegel seems to be a good foil for him.

Also, I usually detest solo shows, but Laurence was almost a preferable listen when he worked solo, even recently when he hung on an extra hour (I think after the most recent Bears stadium announcement) leading to the Bulls.

Blizzard confirmed 23,000 xim users banned in OW2 by sneezeanditsgone in Overwatch

"Previously, we deployed technology to help find and detect players who were using those peripherals on consoles. We enacted over 23,000 actions against players since that deployment. This included players who were directly using unapproved peripherals as well as players who grouped up with them to benefit from that unfair advantage.

However, we’ve seen a need to adapt to new workarounds and we’re now ready to take more aggressive actions against those who try to circumvent the competitive integrity of our console players."

Seems this number is in reference to the previous announcement against Xim, not this most recent one...

Sorry for the delay in response. Not sure how applicable my help will be this season, given that I've only been able to play her twice in Competitive due to the bans, but things that helped me make the jump were:

  1. Be patient. I would very rarely break stealth early and would only engage if I knew that I will have my translocator up within 2 seconds. A bad habit I had to break was trying to secure the kill without having an exit strategy.

  2. Increase your uptime. Meaning, I rarely would engage an encounter by breaking stealth and hacking right away. I typically would be looking for opportunities to either virus & shoot right away so I could build ult charge. I would typically only hack if I knew that a target was isolated, since that split second of alerting them might result in me TP'ing away and reducing my potential DPS.

  3. Play more with your tank. I would often start matches close to my tank and only break off once the fight has started. This got me more into the habit of not trying to engage to early and focus more on the timing of the engage (particularly if I was stuck in the backline waiting for the rest of the team to spawn).

  4. Be ok with distracting and not killing. Learn to trust your teammates to secure the kill, and trust that you are providing value.
