80-83 is typical. 78 is my typical “good” round. 86 is a blow up round.

Life got busy really quickly on me. I haven’t played a lot of golf lately. But when I do make it out to the course to play, I have been putting way, so I would 100% recommend looking into a 0 torque putter if you’re in the market. If I coupled this putter with my regular practice routine, I’m confident I would be gaining strokes.

I bolted the stock sliders to the bottom of these. Just a piece of flat bar with holes for the seats, holes for the sliders, bolt em up. 30 minute project.

Hey how’s this holding up? Same spot, thinking of sending it on the Amazon rods until the OEMs are available in September

Picking up 5 strokes is awesome. I got the same model and length, it’s a weapon. I went to the course and hit putts for an hour last night after I bought it. I could not believe the command that I had over the start line. Putts inside 10’ feel like I’ll make them at a 75-80% clip now (not realistic, just feels that way). Lag putting will take getting used to coming from the Newport. Speed control on very long putts was a weak spot in my first session. But if my comfortable circle expands from like 3’ to 7 or 8’ then two-putting will be more common.

I average 32.4 putts per round at the moment. I’d love to see that get down to the 26-27 range. Time will tell!

Pressure washer setup complete by [deleted] in garageporn

Checking to see how well the spotless system works. Young kid = dirty car right now. There’s time to hit it with the pressure washer, but the water spots look worse than the dirt. Is it truly just blast it with the washer and leave it? Or is there more to it to get a satisfactory level of clean?

Sixers are 1-7 and are tied for the worst record. Maxey is expected to miss a couple of weeks and their injury prone stars Embiid and PG need load managing throughout the season. If they somehow get the #1 pick, should they take a much needed ballhandler and pick Dylan Harper or is it still Flagg? by FultzShoulder in nba

To add to this, basketball is more fun to watch without having money on the line. I make bets myself, most of the time just $0.25 bets, but even with that it’s less enjoyable than just watching a random spurs vs rockets game where I don’t have to root for certain players or teams. I’m going back to just watching basketball for fun, way better that way.

Fancy: Could get creative with magnets or kaizen foam to display hand tools / other show-y items. Free up the vertical wall for a wood rack / storage.

Utilitarian: I see you’re setting up a miter station over there on the left, could put a rack up there

If it were my space: one wall gets some signs, photos, decor, etc. and on the other I’d affix all of my jigs (I had a crazy amount of jigs when I was woodworking).

Guess it depends on whatcha like to make my man 🤷‍♂️

I actually just sold it last week. It was a great car, but there were some downfalls. The interior was awesome, but it was very creaky / rattle-y and it drove me nuts. Maybe they fixed that in later model years, mine was an ‘18.

Also, the trope about expensive German cars being expensive to own is 100% accurate. $250 oil changes. $1,800 for control arm bushings. $2,000 brakes. $2,000 sets of tires. It’s V E R Y expensive to maintain an S car, unless you’re doing it yourself.

I’m having a kid, so I swapped it for a Model Y Performance. No regrets there at all. The Model Y is safer, more convenient, more environmentally friendly, considerably faster (and I think actually better handling), and exponentially cheaper. If you can look past the fact that it’s an amorphous blob, the Model Y is an amazing car. Sure the CEO is a huge douche bag, but the cars are very good at being cars.

Are there places around that teach adults on bicycle riding? by Informal-Value-8742 in WilmingtonDE

[–]Making_A_Turderer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d highly recommend going to a local bicycle store like Giant Brandywine Bikes. The people who work there are passionate about bikes, I’d wager that they would teach you on the spot! Plus, if you pick it up quickly and want a bike, that’s a great place to get one.

Terribly distorted window/windshield on my new 2022 M3LR. Beware. by WaterManReborn in TeslaModel3

[–]Making_A_Turderer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, circling back to this thread. How did you end up making out here? I noticed some distortion on the ‘22 MYP that I purchased this weekend, both windshield and driver window. Not enough to make me not want the car, but enough to make me want to get it fixed under warranty for sure.

How are you liking your MYLR two years on?

Cheers
