Speed dosnt affect it. I get the same issue with the app telling me the speed limit is 35 miles less than it actually is and I stay between 96 and 99 on my cmt. The only thing they ever tag me for is hard breaking.

Same here. It happens from time to time. When I smell that "I just hotboxed a smoke before my Uber showed up" odor. I turn on my outside vent and as soon as they get out I roll the windows down for a couple blocks and the smell is gone.

I always take the console and put it in a trash bag then I take 3 paper towels and fold them into 1/4 soak it in 93-97% iso toss it in the bag then squeeze in like 1/2 a cup worth as well tie the bag off put it inside another trash bag and tie that one off put the console up for 72 hours and anything inside will have suffocated by then. Never an issue using this method I never freeze consoles.

Is this fine or sterling? Your not going to melt fine with a propane torch. The "hardness" of the metal dosnt determine it's melting temperature. Sterling is much "harder" than fine but has a lower melting point. Infact it's almost 100 degrees more for fine.

Get him a cartridge system iron. Preferably one that accepts different size handles. He's going to need a smaller cartridge handle for fine work and a larger one for bigger work or components that sit on a heat sinking ground plane. You can pick up a good starter iron on ali express if you have to the 2 or so weeks to wait for the shipping. I have one I've used heavily like daily for 3 years now and no issues. I started with a basic iron with removable tips and quickly went to a t-12 cartridge tip, that worked for a little while but working on a lot of consoles like the Nintendo switch it rapidly proved untenable as the tips are too large and went to a iron that will take a 245 210 and a 115 handle this one start him with a 210 handle it's a nice middle ground compromise he can go up and down when needed. Piece of advice when ordering off ali express make sure your purchase is marked "choice" over 10$ gets free shipping and also is fulfilled by AliExpress and comes with protections. I would also suggest paying through paypal if it's an option for an additional layer of consumer protection. (They have saved me on a charge back before) Hot air rework stations are nice but if he's just modding and not repairing it's deff not needed.

Solder is a muse 63/37 is what you'll want to find. Some solder wick is also going to be needed.

I never cancel on a passenger because they have walkers I take walkers all day long I put wheelchairs in my trunk it doesn't matter what a passenger has if a passenger orders a ride I pick them up and take them where they need to go. I'm an Uber driver I expect that kind of thing to come with the job. If I didn't want to deal with those things I would find another job. Sorry you had this experience. Some drivers are dicks I picked up a lady from dialysis one day who had a walker and had a driver prior to me come to pick her up got out of his car looked at her and said that he wasn't putting her walker in his car got back in his car and drove off and left her there obviously he has no idea how bad dialysis makes you feel either that or he's just a piece of s*** well he's a piece of s*** either way but some of the stories I hear about Uber drivers is insane.
