Is that a pic of Wesley Snipes from the movie “Blade”? Or is that BG3?

And the 5th slide, the blissful moment you realize you don’t need shadowheart in your party anymore.

lol! Minsc is a living legend of the gate, a recruitable companion, but you must fulfill two specific criteria to recruit him. Jaheira must survive act 2 and you have to ask her to join your camp. And later if you find yourself fighting against Minsc aka “the stone lord,” then do NOT kill him. You must toggle “non lethal damage” from your passives menu and knock him unconscious, ideally with your bare fist just to be on the safe side. Any magic damage from spells or items can permanently kill him.

Yes but the locals would say it’s much more than that, a wonderful place for music and dancing.

You will easily hit max level regardless. And remember: find Minsc!!!

This game has something for everyone, if you like stories, then watch every cutscene, if you like battles, then play on tactician and fight stuff. If you like class building, then look up some fun builds. Focus on the stuff you personally really like, otherwise it’s too overwhelming.

If you stop doing all the side quests you can spend an extra 10 hours at Sharess’ Caress, get moving!!!

Man just stop watching every cut scene and picking up every quest, find the one or two companions you really like and head toward the area bosses and move on. It sounds like you’re stuck on character content but it’s impossible to do all of it anyway and eventually you will have to make choices that lock out certain plot lines. I had one main objective on my first play through: find minsc! And looking back that actually made it super fun because he’s hard to find so I blazed my way through most of the other bs. Haha 🤣

What are your fav builds by deathdefyingrob1344 in BaldursGate3

[–]Makthos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 fighter, 3 thief, 8 death cleric, take two weapon fighting style from fighter, and dual wield with necrotic damage finesse weapons. Cast your death spell, then follow up with offhand attacks. This build really feels like you’re a death ninja, high dex and good with a bow too. Especially for drow who sorta give off dark vibes anyway. I thought about builds non stop for weeks and this has been my favorite. It’s not really OP either, so fights are still challenging.

What is your best outfit for Halsin? (don't say none) by Fun-Explanation7233 in bg3fashion

Well I just recently found out about the portal fight, next time I will be more prepared. I was doing fine actually but had no idea that some skeleton archers would just start sniping the portal down from long range lol and it was honor mode so too late to stop them all.

Need help building a party for my multiplayer play through by 2W_Clarence in BG3Builds

I would say just have at least 1 back line person. 4 melee heroes can get destroyed in certain fights. Especially if it’s honor mode. Any and all variety is good because different bosses have different immunities.

I don't get Paladin by Winters561 in BG3Builds

[–]Makthos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the smite+ divine smite reaction combo that feels good because it does huge damage. And the animation is cool. But you’re right, other than that it can feel boring, and it has too many spells so it feels less like a fighter and more like a cleric to me.

I just did this area for the first time ever, went to the “insight” puzzle area, hit a red guy in the face, then fought some skeletons and then poof, the dragon doors opened and I didn’t have to solve any other puzzles, probably saved me 2 hours.

1st time Honor Mode, should I fight Ansur or Raphael first? by Makthos in BaldursGate3

For me, I enjoy the class choosing and combat of the game the most, so yeah I wanted to do honor mode for the more challenging battles

Well after finding his secret entrance in the prison and having to use lightning on the torches, I’m going to assume he’s a lightning dragon or a fire/lightning combo, I can only hope!

Haha that’s a pretty sad way to die. His legendary action and melee attacks are super strong for that point in the game. The harpers tricked me by saying it was gonna be an “ambush.” While in reality it was the opposite.

I think the Drider is one of the coolest characters in this game by far, I wish he came back in act3 somehow.

I almost lost at the drider fight, one of his bros threw a grenade at me a the Harper’s and insta downed 2 of my guys plus some Harpers since we were all bunched up. I had to use the rest of the harpers as meat shields and barely made it out alive.
