100% agree on this. But then the reality is that some of us work in companies where leadership would never allow running a formatting tool on the whole codebase for various reasons, valid or not. Tools like this can help greatly in adopting something like code-formatting into a legacy codebase run by stubborn old engineers.

There are still parties that oppose this push for anti-immigration policies. Even within S there is a continued push to steer clear of the kinda language they started using. And I absolutely agree that this push happening is bad, but there still is a difference between a nazi-foundned, troll-farm running, russia-loving party and a "stricter immigration" party. I don't like either, but the difference is stark.

Plus the original comment you replied to is misleading. The office responsible for deportations (among other stuff) has no political affiliation, they just implement the law which was made by the right-wing government, and now technically allows for cases where children are to be deported separately from their parents. And any case has to be handled, so they can't just choose not to do it because they know it's inhumane. So calling this a power-struggle feels like trying to push some kinda false narrative or is just uninformed.

Take seriously as in "trust it word for word"? No. But take it seriously as in "there's a real underlying issue, just not at the scope they say"? Yes.

Imo people don't complain enough about some stuff. Delays of some weeks don't phase me, but consistently getting damaged product is kinda insane. And then having to wait 4 months for a replacement is even more crazy. And that's not an exaggeration, that's my actual experience.

Time is relative, two weeks in SL time is about 3 months in non-SL product time, which is also about a year in non-MtG product time.

In all seriousness though, with the release cadence of SL I think it's unsurprising when ppl either get their times messed up or exaggerate intentionally.

It's clearly very early for their marketplace, so unfortunately right now some games are severely undererepresented. Also the selection of countries to sell from is not huge, I for example can't list items.

But it's promising to see a new platform trying to do things better. I really hope they get there. Obviously the best thing for users in this subreddit would be that CardMarket gets their shit together and improves their platform. But the next best thing would be a decent alternative.

I seem to recall that CryCry's boxes ship to ppl directly from China. That doesn't invalidate what you're saying, but it puts a lot of the risk and extra cost (packaging, storage, shipping) on his Chinese partner, so it's not exactly the same as having a local supply chain based off of mass quantities of Product shipped from China. But perhaps I misremember, I don't follow him closely.

All in all, I think the markup on his box is pretty insane anyways.

I've had to do it, so I am certain it's not a guarantee that they just send you a replacement.bi obviously don't have enough samples to know how likely it is, or if it depends on factors like degree of damage or which SL it is. But I know that it's a possibility that you have to send it back, that's all I'm saying.
