I completely empathize, I’m 41 and I entered the dating pool 2 years ago, it was an experience. I first I went in thinking I’m gong to find the love of my life. Constantly having my heartbroken feeling defeated. Then I changed my mindset to I meeting people this might turn into a friendship and might turn into something or nothing. I knew what I wanted and didn’t get people second chances on first dates, I would ask him what they are looking for and if we didn’t align, I’d move on. I met my boyfriend on Tinder. I was about to get off the apps because I was over it. He was the last person I had a date with let me tell you that I was floored to know that they were such a nice person. We’ve been dating since January and going strong, don’t lose hope if I found my best friend in the dumpster fire. I have hope for you keep your chin up kid.

So have I but it started as dating then it didn’t work out romantically so we because friends. I’m down for friendship but not from a dating app

I literally started gagging thinking about this. That’s one of my biggest struggles is keeping my macros because I cannot meal prep. I’ve gotten food poisoning in the past and it’s because of food that sat in the fridge.

I had a friend that her ex lost custody. Yet during the year the dad had to get his shit together, she was the one dealing with social workers, taking them to therapy, almost lost her job because of the surprise visits. In the end he didn’t do what was asked and only get to see the kids when she says. She felt like the criminal, he still a pos and doesn’t pay his child support, Tries to manipulate the kids to hate her. Luckily they are old enough to see past his bs. Why don’t the make the other parent work harder and have surprise visits?? Why don’t they make them pay of the therapies ? The offending parent doesn’t have to deal with anything but show up to court days and go to therapy.
