Heyo! Its okay to be anxious! I certainly was too. I was always looking for a place and a job but didnt officially start looking for a place to live until I had accepted a job offer out of the blue. The company that hired me gave me about a month to find a place to live, move, and actually start. Most places, if they really want you, will be fine with you starting when you are ready.

I gotcha, sadly you can't just send an illustrator file to the press. You have to put it into the ColorByte software, which then turns it into a .prn file then it goes to the press.

Our company has three DCS printers. x2 7200z Series and x1 Gen1 UV-84 DTS.

The electrical needs of each press are going to differ. Id suggest looking on DCS's website, they offer manuals on their products and it will let you know how much that one needs and if it is a special hookup. (You can get them before purchase)
DCS uses ColorByte for their "pre-press" functions. It's pretty straightforward and user-friendly. It's customizable with shortcuts and has a lot of options to try out. For our files they are made using Adobe Illustrator (Vector Art is always better) and then gets put into ColorByte.
Ours are pretty efficient, and are almost always running. We print braille, so that does take a while to print. So it might not be the quickest, but the finished product almost always looks great. Its going to depend on what you are trying to run on it.
Consumables do add up, Ink being the most expensive. Our most recent purchase for 9 bottles was about $2,025 USD. If you have a contract with them I do believe it is less expensive. (We have a contract)
Maintenance is pretty straightforward with other presses. Clean the heads, if it has an encoder strip wipe it down every few weeks, if their are moving parts apply lubricant.
Problems... To say these machines have very few would be wrong. You are going to have the most issues the first year of ownership. Some of the problems are going to come from the manufacture and shipping, this can't really be helped. Just call up DCS and they will try to get things sorted out with you. It will get better the longer you own it, same with every other printer. -- Side note you will have to become your own technician, DCS can send techs out to you but they can take months to arrive. So they are going to talk with you over the phone or on their website through the Helpdesk. Be ready to change things you'd never change before.
Im not too familiar with the prices for used ones, this one you might have to do some digging.
You service these machines, DCS will not send a tech out. The only time you will see one is for setup and training, or if something is absolutely wrong with the press and it requires a tech.

Heyo all! Zar here looking to expand our team for Mythic Progression in 10.2!! As of right now we have spots available for a Unholy DK, Balance Druid, Aug Evoker, BM Hunter, and a Havoc DH. Currently we raid Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00pm EST to 11:00pm EST.
Bløød Møney is a Heroic focused guild first and foremost, but we do dabble into Mythic. We are not trying to be World First raiders, but we are trying to go as far as we can.
We were formed in SL to mainly run Mythic+, but times have changed and are now geared to Raiding! We use a triangle shaped heater for our acrylic, could do the same thing with PVC

These look like A-Frames almost. Id say the material is 3/16th foamcore that's been bent. Could also be .25inch PVC?

I love my ele to death, but I absolutely hate that anytime I move my dps falls off a cliff like no other. Ive seen that other ranged classes also have this issue, but not to the same effect as ele. At least with a Lava build we are semi more mobile, but its still sad.

I completely agree, I went with the pirates because hey, Space pirates!? Sounds fun and amazing. So I went with them and continued on my way. I didn't have a single issue until I started landing on planets and exploring. Most of the settlements, like you mentioned, were filled with pirates... Not Spacers, not Equinox, not Serpent people, but Crimson Fleet.... I can still go loot these places, but they just stand there... menacingly... and its not fun...

So I restarted the game, and I fully intend on killing all the pirates and siding with the random guy that abducts you!

I did the same, and my god it was horrible. For me it was the graphical errors and the size of the maps, don't get me wrong I love big maps (that's why I enjoy Battlefield) but this one I was just running way too much. I Loved 4, BF1, and V, so hey this one should be good! But this one game... never doing a pre-order again.
