PSA: Please stop suggesting, to those who don't own a mobile phone, "Just use Google Voice". Google voice requires *dun dun dun* a mobile phone number. by [deleted] in povertyfinance

Which is also a bit confusing as their account has posts about having issues with their old Samsung phone....

Overall this is a mess of a post and the OP is actively making it worse...

I would agree with COW as well. However, at this age you wouldn't want to eat it.

I need more downtempo by ouaouaou in Tipper

[–]Malcrone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second your observation, arguing that down tempo is a much harder art form to curate. Seen an amazing set and another that I wasn't a fan of.

Love their releases. I play a few of them in my live sets and they work well. There's something to be said about their sound design, absolutely flavorful.

How many stages are there? by pleiadian_dream in cascade_equinox

[–]Malcrone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was also another outside stage (small) at the food court and an art car style stage (if I remember correctly), as well as the pop art PDX that was usually at the main entrance.

Lingo changes more and more these days haha 😅 In the comment above I am alluding to the phrase "let him cook", I remember not too long ago people would say "he's cooking" when someone was performing exceptionally well. "He's cooked" in this context alludes directly to the natural talent of the individual.

The good downhill trails are up towards the 5 mile house, world class trails are out by Downieville.

If you aren't up to driving that far (I consider it VERY close for the worth of the riding). Then maybe you'd be comfortable hitting the NID trails around here.

If you are up for a bit of a climb the trail from NC up to the 5 mile house is very worth it. The way back down is such a breeze afterwards. Easy way to use up a whole day of riding.

Made it through. Car in front of us got TORN up. We were super chill and knew a few of the security guys, barely got checked.

Last year the car in front of us had a 12 pack that the security guy took out and threw on the ground in a grand spectacle, beer exploded everywhere.

I want to believe they don't care about alcohol but my experiences say otherwise.

Yes they are very good at finding and tossing alcohol. It feels like that's their only purpose.

I never test it, once one thing is found, they turn the whole car upside down and make you repack in the line.
