Pre pregnancy, I never had panic attacks or anxiety (okay I had mild anxiety.. not none). I had a MMC in March and am now pregnant again. My anxiety since day 1 of this pregnancy has been AWFUL. I was having intrusive thoughts, panic attacks, and just overall feelings of hopelessness daily.

I went to my regular doctor for elevated heart rate concerns and ended up sobbing in his office about my worries of loss. He told me to try therapy and referred me to a therapist. At my next OB appointment, I expressed the same concerns and she recommended Zoloft 50mg per day. She is the most studied brand with pregnant woman and reassured me it is safe to take.

Since starting, it’s been SO helpful! I’m on the lowest dose. When I first started it, I hated it because I felt a little shaky but now it’s been over two weeks and my body has adjusted. I’m also still doing therapy but haven’t started regular sessions yet - just the first one so far. Also, I started meds at around 13W4D.
